Currently my wife and I have a pretty stressful life situation. Our 4th child was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at the age of 3 months. She is now 5 1/2 months old and is still fighting for her l situation. Our 4th child was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer at the age of 3 months. She is now 5 1/2 months old and is still fighting for her life now through 6 surgeries and 4 chemo treatments. No matter the final outcome we still wanted to find a nice comfortable SUV to carry our family in and for me to have a vehicle to be able to take out on outdoor activities. My father was a Finance Manager, Controller, and eventually General Manager of several luxury car dealerships before he retired, so I have been taught well on how to deal with sales tactics along with knowledge about the ins and outs of the auto sales business and was ready to use that knowledge to purchase a used Mercury Mountaineer from San Tan VW. However, regardless of this knowledge I was still not looking forward to playing any negotiating games with a salesman, closer, or their desk man due to already being stressed with the current situation my family was dealing with. To not drag out this explanation, I didn't have to put that car buying knowledge to use. Jack, our Salesman, was not pushy and didn't use any hard sales tactics or gimmicks to sell me the car. He fully answered my questions, kept myself and my family at ease, was straight forward and honest, and provided excellent customer service. His Desk Man, Aaron, was also extremely honest and forth coming with answers to my questions and requests. I then had the pleasure of dealing with Finance Manager Christian who also was extremely polite, forth coming, and executed the deal slowly so that my wife and I completely understood the deal we had agreed upon. He never once pushed a bunch of papers in our direction and just said, "sign here and here", which typically takes place when dealing with finance. Instead Christian took the time to ask us about ourselves, our family, and even answered about 50 questions from my inquisitive wife. The complete deal was absolutely free of stress and was done quickly. I was given fair value for my trade-in and the used SUV I bought was in excellent condition (You will not find junk for sale on their lot!). The next day, after the sale, I requested a small issue to be taken care of with the vehicle and I was immediately set up by Jack with Thomas in the Service Department. I didn't even ask for a loaner car, but they offered it regardless due to the situation I was in. All in all, the entire process of buying a vehicle from San Tan VW was stress free, relaxing, and easy to do. I greatly appreciate the excellent customer service I and my family received from Jack, Aaron, and Christian. I will highly recommend them to my many friends and family that live here in the Phoenix Valley. I will absolutely buy from them again, but until that time I hope to repay the excellent service I received by bringing them more business. Thank you again to all the personnel at San Tan VW, but especially to Jack and Christian for making my car buying experience extremely positive! Additionally, I received an excellent deal on my vehicle purchase. The two other Mountaineers for sale in the Valley were less equipped with options, had more miles, and were about $1,700 to $2,300 more than what I paid. After walking around other car lots and having no one approach me to see if I even had any questions and then finding out that my husband, who happened to be walking around the same lot, was asked over 4 times, I was already dismayed by the gender bias. So here I was, going in to spend a lot of money, already planning on being disappointed with my experience. That was not the case at San Tan Volkswagen. They instantly accommodated my request and even better didn't even hesitate. Their number one concern was that I was happy with every step of the process and that was very clear from the beginning. They helped my pick out the best car for me, get the price I was looking for and made sure I was all set up with the bluetooth/navi/clocks/radio stations and made sure I understood how everything worked.
