I am a first time car buyer(recent graduate) and I must say that SanTan Volkswagen made my experience all the less dreadful. When I finally arrived at the dealership, he was exactly what I DID NOT expect from a salesman. Throughout the whole experience, I never once felt rushed or hassled into buying a vehicle; even though I needed one immediately. The first Jetta SE he brought out was exactly what I had in mind. The terms of the agreement were explained thoroughly, leaving no room for questions after his initial explanation. When it came to financing, I dealt with Christian Harding who was equally as exceptional. He was very candid and straight to the point when I made inquiries. Not to mention the patience he had. Overall, I would highly recommend SanTan Volkswagen to anyone who enjoys great customer service or is a first time car buyer like myself. I hate to sound cliche, but I couldn't have asked for a better first time buying experience. More

On October 4, my husband and I purchased a Golf TDI 2012 from this dealership in Gilbert. Jack Rasmussen and Ronald Sund were the sales guys that we dealt with and they were awesome. We found them to be very professional, knowledgeable, and willing to spend lots of time with us as we tried to make our decision. We didn't feel pressured in any way which was refreshing...right down to pricing. Jack and Ronnie answered all of our questions and are continuing to do so as we learn all about the tech package that we purchased with this model. We feel we got a quality vehicle and one that fits our needs. I would also like to acknowledge the support staff such as Becky, in service, who was cordial and dealt efficiently with a couple of issues that we had, as well as, Mike who put us at ease with regard to the sound quality of the speakers and Brian in finance. The showroom is both inviting to the customer and a wonderful work environment for the employee. We found the service area very impressive with cleanliness and high tech. They certainly have great customer service. You can't go wrong. More

We have been to other dealerships and invested alot of time asking questions and test driving, on top of much internet research. We were so excited driving our new car off the lot of another dealership, o time asking questions and test driving, on top of much internet research. We were so excited driving our new car off the lot of another dealership, only to discover that the "paperwork" wasn't quite right... and the interest rate and price promised were not being honored. We had to return our new car four days later. At San Tan VW we did not spend hours and hours negotiating. We were treated fairly and honestly. We were not called the next day and asked to come back and pay more than we had agreed upon. It has been two weeks since our visit to San Tan and no one has asked me to return my new car. I could not be happier. Thanks for a good experience. More

Buying my new car at SanTan Volkswagen was actually an enjoyable experience. I worked with Hal for a number of weeks looking for the exact car I wanted. Greg was friendly and honest from the minute we met him. He included our daughter, who the car was for, into the conversation/experience. We hadn't planned on buying a car that Sunday and he and the manager agreed to hold the price and detail the car on Monday. The price was great and we figured we couldn't pass it up. Because my husband and I work opposite shifts, we had to sign paperwork on different days and EVERYONE especially Greg helped make this happen! Before we left the dealership Monday night, Greg had explained all the features and showed our daughter how they worked. We had the most pleasant new car buying experience we ever had. We thought our trade-in was worth more than it was and that we wouldn't be able to afford the 2011 Jetta TDI we wanted, but Patrick asked ever had. He gave a deal on our trade in and he gave us a great price on the Jetta - We highly recommend Patrick and SAN TAN VW to anyone looking for an honest salesperson and dealership. My wife and I had an awful experience at Camelback Volkswagen in Phoenix. I called SanTan and explained over the phone our horrible Camelback VW experience. I further explained that my wife was 6 months pregnant, and we did not have the time nor energy to make a deal other than what was said over the phone. We drove an hour to get to SanTan VW (Camelback VW is only 10 minutes away from our house), and it was well worth it. The exact car we were looking for (Jetta Sportwagen), and exact terms of what was discussed over he phone were still in effect. Where as our Camelback experience felt like everybody from sales to finance teamed up against us to force us into signing; Everybody at SanTan seemed to work and support each other to help us get what we wanted. Instead of someone selling us a car, I felt like we bought one. I highly recommend SanTan Volkswagen for anybody looking to purchase a car. From sale through financing, I felt like all the car features, options, warranty and finance terms were properly explained to us so that we had a thorough understanding of what we were buying, and what to expect throughout the lifetime of our car.
