High pressure sales for service I didn't need During my 40000 mile service at Ken Garff Volvo I was pressured to have my rear break pads replaced. They told me that my car had only 1mm of my pads During my 40000 mile service at Ken Garff Volvo I was pressured to have my rear break pads replaced. They told me that my car had only 1mm of my pads left, and that if I didn't get them replaced immediately I would ruin my brake rotors. They quoted me $270 to get them replaced. I decided not to replace them (mainly because the price was very high), and during check out I again was told I needed to get my breaks fixed. I called around for a better price, and after a few calls decided to take my car in to the Firestone service center 3300 south and 9th east, and I TOLD them I needed new break pads. What an easy sale that was for them, right? However, they called me a little later, and told me that if they sold me new break pads for my car that they would be doing me a disservice, because my breaks still had at least 50% left on them. How about that for honesty from Firestone! More

Bad service The worst service I ever had ... after 4 trips to the dealer still had over heating problems ... had to replace the head gasket twice ( new service gu The worst service I ever had ... after 4 trips to the dealer still had over heating problems ... had to replace the head gasket twice ( new service guy had never done this job on a Volvo) ... still overheated .. replaced thermostat .. still overheated ... replaced radiator ... still over heated ... finally replaced expansion tank (warped) which was the problem as the new cap they also installed did not help the warped threads on the tank. Had the old radiator checked for leaks and flow by an independent service and the radiator was perfect ... they charged me $1000 for a radiator I didn't need .... the total bill was over $4000 + ..... don't ever got here for service. Would have bought a new Volvo but can't deal with this bad service dealer More
