First time walk in. Answered all questions, worked well with budget and wasn't pushy. Aside from waiting for paperwork and getting car ready, everything went extremely well. with budget and wasn't pushy. Aside from waiting for paperwork and getting car ready, everything went extremely well. More

This is our 3rd purchade from this dealership. We come back for a reason. Dave and Rusty were good but I felt like I wasn't being heard sometimes. Dave kept showing me used vehiles and I kept saying I don back for a reason. Dave and Rusty were good but I felt like I wasn't being heard sometimes. Dave kept showing me used vehiles and I kept saying I don't want used. I wanted very specific things and I was shown cars that did not meet my qualifications. Alot of walking in the hot sun. I asked several times about the colors the compass came in and I never got a straight answer. I really felt like I "settled" for what I purchased. Please don't get me wrong, both men were very courtious and polite and knew how to keep the customer comfortable, but I was there to buy a car and to get what I wanted not what the salesman wanted. We love the dealership and will be back in the future. I hope soon that I will fall in love with my new car. More
Both Dave and Jeremy were easy to talk to. They were easy to work with and had a great sense of humor. Though there was a casual atmosphere, both were professional and knowledgeable. I felt they liste easy to work with and had a great sense of humor. Though there was a casual atmosphere, both were professional and knowledgeable. I felt they listened to what our wants were, had a game plan before we got there and were ready to show us options. I appreciated the willingness to take time that was needed. I feel we were treated fairly and honestly. We also did not feel rushed. Jeremy came in on his day off which is an indicator of dedication not only to the company, but the customer as well. This was not the first time we purchased from Ken Garff and probably will not be the last. Thanks guys. More

My husband and I had been looking at trucks for a few weeks when we called West Valley Dodge. I spoke to someone about some trucks who told me they would call me right back. I never received a call from weeks when we called West Valley Dodge. I spoke to someone about some trucks who told me they would call me right back. I never received a call from them. We decided to go down and look at the trucks. Out first salesman was new and didn't seem to know a thing about the trucks. My husband found one he liked and I hated the color. The salesman (who was being serious) told us he could have it painted for $50. We looked at other trucks and could never get a set price on anything. We left and decided to go back one more time to work with a different salesman. This was the first part of June 2011. We met with Rusty Pace who was nice. We found a 2004 Dodge Cummins that we really liked so we went in and met with Sergio Gomez (aka Cheeky). Sergio seemed really nice also. There were a few minor things wrong with the truack and Sergio assured us that he would have thme fixed at no charge if we bought the truck. We told them we had financing, but we had to stay within a certain milage. The truck was just barely over so we decided to go through Ken Garff for the financing. They came back with a price that was a little high and we tried to negotiate. At that time I felt a littler pressured, but my husband was in love with the truck. We did the paperwork and then met with the finance officer named Rhett. During the signing process we were shorted $500 on our trade in and the refused to take a $500 coupon that I had recived through the school district for Road To Success. The finance officer talked to us in circles about how we were still receiving that money off after taxes and blah blah blah. By now it't late and I want to go. We finished and left. We had to bring our trade in the next day and when we did I talked to Sergio about the financing. He said he would talk to Rhett and get it straitened out. We also discussed having the items fixed and he said to drop the truck off next week. I said ok. During the next week I contacted my credit union to see if our trade in had been paid off and it had not. I spent the next 2 almost 3 weeks trying to contact Rhett or someone else to find out what was going on with the financing. I didn't take the truck in to be fixed because I wanted to make sure the financing was done. Finally Rhett contacted me at the end of June to say they had financing. They had to lower the price of the truck, but the intrest rate went up. I would be saving $2 a month now. We went to sign the new papers and the extra $500 for the trade in still wasn't listed. I asked to see Sergio but it was his day off. Rhett explained they were losing money and they wouldn't do the $500 or the $500 coupon. He told me we already gained that money, but I don't see where if I only saved $2 a month now. I got upset and wasn't going to sign the papers. My husband begged me to so I gave in. We signed the papers and then I was informed that I had to pay the extra $101 in intrest on my trade in because it took them 3 weeks to find financing and the payoff amount on my trade in was different. I told Rhett that wasn't my fault and he said it wasn't theirs and I had to pay the money. I then asked when I could bring in the truck to get the stuff fixed and he said we couldn't now, because again the dealership lost money (Yeah RIGHT!!). They also refused to make an extra truck key (as I was promised I would have). He said they only make door keys. I was very upset and told him that. We had been previously looking at a new Challenger, and I told him we won't buy it now. We left. I called Sergio the next day to complain and he said he would fix everything. He said he would call me back to see when I could drop the truck off. That was almost 3 weeks ago and he refuses to call me back. I have left numerous messages on his cell and at the front desk. I have tried contacting a sales manager and I am put on hold for 15 minutes without speaking to anyone. I live in Tooele and it's not that easy to just pop on over. I have now tried to contact the general manager, Chad Rigby, and left him a voicemail. Let's see if he will call me when he gets back into town. These salesman really now how to work someone over and then make them regret buying a vehicle through them. All I can say to Sergio or Cheeky is that you should be careful what you do with your customers, because it may come back to bite you in the end. More
I had a great experience with Ken Garff. Robert was outstanding to work with. The financing guys were amazing as well. I was able to get into a car I liked and can afford. I didn't have the best of outstanding to work with. The financing guys were amazing as well. I was able to get into a car I liked and can afford. I didn't have the best of credit and they really worked with me and were able to satisfy my wants on the vehicle I was looking at. Thanks again! More
