Well Brian, I actually do have an issue about the service dept and my Rubicon.....I am waiting on the service tech (can't remember his name. Older gentleman, gray hair, super nice) worked the compass/evap cannister/engine warning light issue I had. I am waiting for a replacement compass piece and expected him to call. I am out of town right now, but can still receive phone calls. I am coming home 20Jan and would like the Jeep's compass fixed. I also have the gas cap light on again. He told me the engine light may or may not come on again as they could not diagnose the reason why even after trouble shooting the codes. Test after test. This is not a complaint so much as a follow up I suppose. I am waiting for the call to bring the Jeep in to replace the compass piece he ordered for it. From my experience at your dealership your use of the word "instructed to help" is lacking as an explanation, I think either coerce, compel or even pressure would be more a more precise term. I didn't ask for the "help", I didn't want the "help" I asked them not to continue "offering" me "help". However what bothered me most was being lied to, that I cannot abide. It is very unfortunate that your firm chooses to do business that way. Is making that sale no matter what lie you tell really necessary? Is providing the financing so you make a few extra bucks really worth it? Is having a customer leaving your dealership vowing never to do business with you again and determined to discourage others from doing so the desired result of your business model?
