The situation was regarding obtaining a loner vehicle for my safety recall. Kendall Ford did an excellent job of addressing my concerns and going above and beyond to make up for my initially poor experience. Thank you Kevin, for making it right. More

Worst mistake I could have ever done! On April 26th I went in and talk with the sales men about what they had I originally went in looking at a white f-350 but ended up going with a magnetic that had a couple more bells and whistles for comfort, so then it begins we sit to discuss warranty options add ons etc, during this time I asked does warranty cover things that they add on to truck because why pay more from a dealer if it doesn’t and their response was yes it’s covered under your extended since your doing it as a new vehicle it’ll all be covered. So me and my wife discussed and ended up adding on about $6899 that day between wheels, tires, leveling kit, tint, spray in bed liner and a apparently an awesome wheel and tire warranty that was originally quoted at$350. Paperwork time comes and of course I ask again just verifying that by adding all this now it’ll be under my warranty ? Response was yes ! Started signing papers and and got to looking the wheel and tire warranty was in fact not $350 but instead $2000! Because those wheels were a lot more expensive he said. But apparently they cover everything about them at this point I don’t believe anything these guys are saying! Since it was Sunday I had to wait until Monday to finish adding parts to the list since parts and service were closed. Monday comes around I call first thing and spoke with Kenny the parts guy and gave him a list of parts to look up and see what they could get. Thorough a few phone calls and multiple emails... we jump to Tuesday we’re at this point I have verified that everything they are doing is covered under extended warranty answer always being yes I asked atleast 6 time during all our conversations always yes it is. So I opt do do the extras since peace of mind was our Main Goal. On Wednesday I get an email saying I’d be receiving an itemized invoice for everything to go over and make sure it was correct since I had applied a 10% discount to it which when asked was 10% off parts and 10% labor up to $100 per labor job. ONCE again false info since I never got my invoice or itemized statement they called Friday at 545pm to inform me that one of the parts they ordered were wrong and wouldn’t fit on truck, So I’m bummed because it was my favorite add on ! A grill to change the look of the entire truck now that they let me down with poor communication at 545 pm on Friday 15 mins prior to closing for the weekend!!! Im mad at this point that’s I was informed 15mine prior to them closing that truck is done but won’t have what I asked. Well 25mins later I get a call after they’re closed from their service guy George apologized about the grill but that was it and then in turn asked how would I like to pay ? Well I haven’t gotten an invoice or nothing yet, so he goes to just rambling on what everything costed witch doesn’t help me if I’m checking to see total before discount and discount applied so I ask did the 10% discount make it on there for all parts and 10% for the labor per jobs since I had 5 separate jobs? He’s like yes you got $100 off labor and 10% off parts ...how do you figure only a $100 out of 5 jobs if it’s 10% off per labor job up to $100....he responds is that what you were told ? Umm duh it’s not like you freaking advertised discounts !!! Well you were misinformed it $100 labor total regardless of how many jobs you had ....total damage was $3100 I’m like ok but I still need invoice when I pick up truck on Sunday it’ll be with the truck ....show up Sunday May 3rd to pickup truck and instantly noticed that the rear brand new wheels were missing the Fuel caps to them wondering xxx is this ? I asked my sales men about it I guess they had to order longer bolts or something, So I’m like George had no issues asking for $3100 on Friday but couldn’t tell me that they didn’t even finish everything or were having to order stuff? And yet also still no invoice !! Briefly asked my salesman about the parts and stuff with warranty he had to go ask the only finance lady working that day and she said yes would talk about getting papers and stuff when the guy that did mine returns to work I’m like ok and and then had to ask for a copy of the purchase agreement before I left lol Following Monday is when George called me since my salesman told him how upset I was about my experience and unprofessional communication.. still no invoice and what the deal with paper work for warranty this is when he would have to get back to me because he said extended doesn’t cover any of the stuff you added ? Why the xxxx would I spend more than 10k in stuff for a warranty if there isn’t gonna be a warranty ??? So he had to check and double with finance but when he got back to me said there’s isn’t a warranty just a workman ship so extended does not cover any off it NO...at this point I’m fed up Go in hopeing for a pleasant experience and all it is take your money they want to miss inform you all the way to get you to add more and more money and that’s the end game how much money can we get along with no communication, lieing about what covered under warranty just so you commit to something is a total scam Business !! Followed up tried to reach out to the actual manager Pat and never got a call back he had my salesman reach out to me with a crack offer to try and make me happy ( a grill that costs 4 times more then the original grill $1800 with 10% off and no labor ) how does that even equate to the thousands and thousands I paid more for just to have a warranty that doesn’t exist??? They Fail at communication in all aspects and fail in professionalism they like to blame each other and other departments instead of actually owning up to what they say.... Be warned !!! If you want a simple pleasant business deal to by a vehicle you will NOT find it at Kendell Ford Going on 3 weeks no resolution in site and no managers have even reached out to me More

The Coyote motor has problems with a metallic banging noise that Ford has acknowledged and will not take any steps to remedy. The motor sounds horrible when it has been driven for long distances and Ford is currently claiming this is a normal operating characteristic of the motor. Kendall Ford sold me a used 5.0 F150 last October. At the time the motor did not make the horrible banging noise but it was a known problem at Ford dealerships. There was no mention of this problem to me when I purchased the vehicle. Well, this problem manifested itself in the vehicle and Kendall Ford has done nothing to fix the problem. This is with a complete manufacturer's warranty, Kendall one year used car warranty, a CPO warranty and upgraded CPO warranty on the vehicle. Don’t believe this hype that Kendall has on their website about not selling you someone else's problem and doing the right thing. If doing the right thing will not make them money then it won’t happen. Dale Burkhouse More
Exceptional customer service My Husband and I were searching for a new truck to pull our new camper. We met Austin and he helped us purchase a new truck that we were very pleased My Husband and I were searching for a new truck to pull our new camper. We met Austin and he helped us purchase a new truck that we were very pleased with. We ended up purchacing a trailer bigger than expected hence needing a larger truck only 5 days after the purchase of the original purchase. We contacted Austin and explained our situation. He was over the top helpful! His personality and kindness are off the charts! He was so kind and did everything to help up get the truck we needed without taking a hudge loss. Todd came over as we were looking on the showroom floor and while Austin was looking over possibilities. Todd was kind and helpful with getting us a test drive even going the extra mile to see if it would fit in the garage. Austin and Todd were to say he least AMAZING. Neither is pushy or aggressive in sales. My husband and I have bought many cars over he years and we agree that these two gentleman are the absolute best sales men we have worked with. Thank you Austin and Todd for the extra effort!!! More

This is the third transaction I've done at a Kendall spanning over two different states. I still have to be honest and say that this one did not begin as pleasant as the first two. However, Kendall came through in the end and put me first before everything else. I can honestly say at this point that I don't know if there is any other dealership I will ever trust more. I am now a very happy customer of theirs and I highly recommend them to anyone in search of a vehicle whether new or used. There is one person who I genuinely feel deserves a commendation, that person is salesman James Kirk. Not only was J. Kirk willing to go above and beyond each time I needed something, I felt like he worked for me and not against me during my purchase. He also displayed great empathy when I came to him with my problems. If you ever have any issues speak to "Kevin" their customer relations manager - great guy. I truly feel lucky to be on this side of the continent knowing if I ever have to buy, sell or trade a car that Kendall is near. I knew there was a reason I was not worried about traveling over 700 miles to buy a vehicle from Kendall Eugene! Great job guys! More

After posting this review I talked with Kevin Hyde, the customer relations manager. We discussed the situation and, while he started to sound argumentative in relaying the information he got from his side, he expressed an interest in doing whatever he could to repair the broken relationship. We came to an agreement that would leave me walking away feeling OK with my purchase. I will update this review and possibly adjust my rating after I know the final outcome of that verbal agreement. ****EDIT 2-3-19**** We dropped off our vehicle today to have work completed tomorrow. Kevin Hyde worked very hard to make sure we came to a satisfactory conclusion. At this point we are happy with our vehicle and satisfied with the outcome, even if it was a bit of a rough path to get there. I truly hope Kevin was right about someones bad day being the reason our experience took a bad turn. I wish there was a 'Neutral' option in response to recommending this dealership as I am not enthusiastic about promoting Kendall Ford at this point, but I wouldn't tell people to avoid them either. I would be willing to work with them again, though any used car would get a very extensive inspection prior to making an offer. Below is my original review, though I have updated the rating to reflect the current situation. ******************** First, let me say that I had an excellent experience with the salesman (from Kendall Toyota across the street), and had satisfactory interactions with the service department. I also had a friendly conversation with the new car sales manager and I would be willing to work with him again. I am a return customer and had a decent experience buying my first car from the Kendall budget lot. After our most recent purchase my mechanic noted cupping on the front tires and fluid leaking from the rear struts - both signs of worn out shocks/struts. I called the dealership hoping to be able to work out a compromise along the lines of them doing the work for us at their cost. That way they aren't out much if any, and we end up with a rig in good condition while still paying a mostly reasonable price. We never got to a point to discuss that. It took 15 phone calls and talking to 7 people before I finally got in touch with Gary, the used car sales manager. He immediately began denying any problem stating that the condition of the vehicle was normal for it's mileage and there was nothing that needed to be done to it. After multiple phone calls arguing over the fact that Ford documentation disagrees (fluid from struts indicates they should be replaced) I was fed up enough to walk away from the deal entirely. At that point we were still within the three day money-back-guarantee window. Gary finally agreed to replace the rear shocks/struts after I told him to keep the car; I was tired of arguing about it. By the time we add in the cost of new front shocks/struts and tire rotation (that wasn't done at the last oil change at the dealership) the cost of this car is much higher than I would have been willing to pay for it. Needless to say I am extremely unhappy with my overall experience and, without some major action on Kendall's part, will never step foot on their lot again. YMMV; good luck. More
