Very Rude Service Manager!!!! I don't normally do reviews unless I am impressed and people have gone above and beyond. If its less than I chalk it up to someone having an off day. However, my recent experience was so bad I have been seriously thinking of writing the corporate office. This was my 4th or 5th visit to Kendall and they have always done what I paid for. Nothing great, its been okay. A little pricey but okay. My recent visit was easily the worst experience I have had at any dealership since I started driving over 40 years ago. My appointment was for 10:00 a.m. and I drove just over an hour and arrived a few minutes early. A young man approached me and I said hello and told him I had an appointment for 10:00. He advised me that they had recently opened their express service and that it would be a 3 hour wait before they could get to my car. He ushered me in to begin the paperwork for my oil change when I noticed I had left my lights on. Instead of letting me go shut them off, he said something to a woman wearing gloves and a mask and she went out to shut them off. I later learned she was the service manager. She returned and started berating this employee in front of me and at least 5 other customers standing near by. "Didn't you disinfect that car? You're suppose to do that before you do anything. It was so disgusting it grossed me out. I didn't even want to touch it." Seriously, I'm standing right there. The car was not gross nor disgusting. She was wearing gloves and a mask. Okay, yes he probably should have done the disinfecting but this woman not only broke the first rule of management with the employee she made me feel like I just crawled out of the sewer. About 30 minutes later this same woman walks towards me with her arm stretched out holding my key ring with her index finger and thumb and says "you're not suppose to leave your car key on the ring. We're not suppose to have to touch you're keys." Rude! This Virus and the rules that go with is new to all of us. Perhaps she's already had to tell this to a 1000 customers before I got there but since this is my first trip to the dealership since the shutdown and social distancing began I was not aware of this rule, nor am I one of the employees there for her to berate. I simple took my keys and said sorry. Yea. Then to top off my awful experience, I went to pay my bill for my oil change, which 6 months ago had been $70 for just an oil change. Since I had been emailed a coupon for $10 off I expected the bill to be $60. I was wrong. Try $68 after the coupon was applied. So anyone living in the Florence/Maplton area who wants to drive 2-1/2 hours round-trip, be treated like you are sewer slime and then over pay for service, go to Kendell. The rest of us will find someplace else. More

The crew at Subaru cares and offers good service. After making an appointment for my 30,000 mile service regimen, I was disappointed to learn it would be a 3 hour turn around before my car was ready. What was the point of establishing an appointment if I was just thrown into an existing queue? As it turned out, the service department completed the work in a little over an hour. I greatly appreciated their courtesy to me and doing the job quickly. That counts as excellent service to me. I feel your staff is always friendly and professional whenever I visit the shop. You have a concerned and courteous crew. They also took adequate precautions sanitizing my car both when I arrived and when I left. Thank you, Subaru, for your care. More
I took it in for a oil change and battery change, they I took it in for a oil change and battery change, they did the battery change because they said they couldn’t put my car on the lift because of my si I took it in for a oil change and battery change, they did the battery change because they said they couldn’t put my car on the lift because of my side skirts would break if they did that which I was fine with so I told them not to do the oil change, I took the car home and washed it the next night which would have been tonight, and I pop open the hood and the red cap that is supposed to be on the positive side of the battery to cover it that plastic piece was at the bottom of my engine bay partially melted, and then when I got to washing my car part of my side skirt wasn’t even connected anymore, I ended up fixing the side skirt myself , at least I hope I did, but I plan on seeing if they will replace my positive battery plastic cover piece. I’m assuming the side skirt popped off when they attempted to put it on the lift , but didn’t bother to make sure they were all still connected. I do recommend this service center but I think a little bit more attention to detail is needed. More

Excellent service, we were there for an oil change and a recall for the exhaust system. We were initially told to expect a four hour wait. Once we arrived, the rep realized we were from out of town and expe recall for the exhaust system. We were initially told to expect a four hour wait. Since this was during covid restrictions and there were no places to go to (restaurants, shopping, etc.) this effort was much appreciated as our wait was cut in half. More
