Air Bag Recall We had our 2010 Legacy 3.6R have a recall on the passenger airbag. We scheduled an appointment for the change. We received a "loaner" 2020 Outback s We had our 2010 Legacy 3.6R have a recall on the passenger airbag. We scheduled an appointment for the change. We received a "loaner" 2020 Outback stock model in replacement. We returned the replacement the next day for our car. Appt. was on Friday and picked up our car on Saturday. Sunday went to grocery store. Trunk would not open manually...had to use key remote. Called Subaru on Monday...no call back...Called Subaru Tuesday had message call back. Called back and spoke to Candance and said Service Manager would be calling us back. Wednesday "Cara" (sp) called us back and was quite rude and stated that the manual parking brake was on the opposite side of the where air bag had been installed and they could take a look at it on Saturday at 2. Husband came home from work....went to look for trouble shooting....wait for it.....there is a push button on the left inside of where you open the glove box where they replaced the air bag that controls the manual trunk opening. Pushed the button in and trunk opens manually. Called and cancelled the appt. on Saturday at 2. I realize customer service is not for everyone...but "Cara" you could have been more pleasant and know the models of your cars....and where they had been working on it. Honest mistake...If anyone else has a problem opening the trunk with the manual button...check the left side of your glove box. More

I had 3 recall problems and needed oil change. My appointment was due to take the whole day. Since I have a 2 hour drive to Kendall, I elected to bring enough work with me so I could wait in the cus appointment was due to take the whole day. Since I have a 2 hour drive to Kendall, I elected to bring enough work with me so I could wait in the customer lounge and keep busy. When I told them that I was waiting, the service writer said he would fast track my work and try to get me out by 3 PM. I was amazed at 10:45 AM when he told me all of the work was completed. They had an extra technical available, and they put two technicians on my job at the same time. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! More

First time service visit 5 Stars Due to unexpected circumstances, our 2015 Forester did not get driven very much over the two years since we purchased it used from a Portland dealer i Due to unexpected circumstances, our 2015 Forester did not get driven very much over the two years since we purchased it used from a Portland dealer in 2018. Without having added enough miles to take it in for the next level of recommended service visits, taking it in to Kendall was not high on our priority list until the battery died recently. I imagined that it's infrequent use might have some additional unintended consequences and was a bit concerned that Kendall might not be as generous as they would if we had purchased it from them. To our great delight - the experience was excellent in every way, from the initial quote, the shuttle to work and back, the efficiency of the team, the complementary overview and tire rotation, and the reasonable charge. Good people, courteous and customer focused. Thank you! More
