Everyone in the Service Department is always so friendly, polite, and accommodating. The Florence store is much closer to our house but we choose to go to Alexandria because the staff is so much nicer. polite, and accommodating. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Had my car for over a month and still didn’t run When I got it back. Heard the entire engine replaced and still didn’t Ron, was told it was the battery so I got a new one and it and still didn’t run When I got it back. Very happy with service. Happy with waiting room being in compliance with anti-virus safety. BUT, not happy that when I went to pay for the service, I found that there was NO PLEXIGLASS at the window and in compliance with anti-virus safety. BUT, not happy that when I went to pay for the service, I found that there was NO PLEXIGLASS at the window and the 3 personnel in the office wore NO MASKS. I was totally surprised. More
This was my Facebook post today........Everyone knows i take my vehicles very serious, and personally take care of them to the point of sometime being obsessed with care and maintenance , yall know I don' take my vehicles very serious, and personally take care of them to the point of sometime being obsessed with care and maintenance , yall know I don't do this much and any of you that really know me know I have been a lifelong loyal customer to Kerry Chevrolet in Alexandria. I have never been more disappointed in a business. I have bought at least 14 vehicles out there over the years and sent COUNTLESS people and referrals to them. I have a '15 Silverado that I leased off the showroom floor in 15. When the lease came up, I purchased the truck and got an extended warranty. I have taken it in for various services and recalls throughout the last 5 years and everytime i have brought up transmission issues(which are know issues with this year and trans.). Slipping. Locking up, skipping geaars on the downshift etc. Everytime I took it in, they said they could not duplicate the issue. The last time i took it in for an AC problem, i actually had to find the leak for them by injecting dye in the system. This repair was covered outside of the warranty because they had looked at it before expiration. Finally about 3 weeks ago, it went completely. Torque converter burnt out and all. Well I barely made it to the dealership and I knew the warranty was past but figured since I had brought it in in the past for this, no problem, right? Wrong. Even though I had had it in there multiple times and had asked them to look into it with no luck they said " it was documented that they looked at it". You owe 5800.00 Well again knowing me I said that is incorrect. They THEN agreed with me, and asked GM for consideration. GM stepped up and partially covered some of the work but only a third. I knew there would be a deductible and was prepared to pay a large amount which I figured would be about 2000.00ish. That still, believe it or not left another 1300.00 to be paid. I asked the general manager( who I have known for over 20 years when he started there as a salesman and flooded with customers to help him bui lll d his career up to the now General manager)to see if Kerry would step up to the plate SOME since the noe revamped service department ue to years of issues, hadn't done their job in the first place? I was told there was nothing Kerry Automotive would do. For basically 1000.00 Kerry Chevrolet has told a lifetime loyal customer that because we did not do our job correctly, you have to pay. I gave Kerry a choice. I wasn't asking for anything for free, rather just some help due to their negligence of duties. GM did their part, why didn't Kerry Auttomotive. I gave the General Manager a choice, take some responsibility or lose a lifetime loyal customer and all the support I have given throughout the years I have tried contacting their corporate offices but I am turned to just the one dealership. If anyone had any Kerry contacts and can get me to corporate or would share this story i would appreciate it. Also I would really consider your future purchases. A lot of places sell the same cars and trucks. He made his choice and I have spent my last dime with Kerry automotive. More
