I bring my vehicle to Acura of Reno for servicing, and my experience has been solid so far. Appointments are easy to schedule, the staff is courteous, and my car is always ready when promised. Had a warranty on my 2018 MDX and camera went bad. Warranty would pay for camera, but would not pay some $900 for camera calibration resulting in camera not working unless I paid the some $900 out my Warranty would pay for camera, but would not pay some $900 for camera calibration resulting in camera not working unless I paid the some $900 out my pocket. Acura recomended I trade in my 2118 MDX for a 2022 MDX they had got back fn from a lease. With new tires,etc it looked and felt like a brand new vehicle just off the showroom floor. Also sold me a warranty that would pay for calibration of a camera. Therefore I was well pleased with Reno Acura. More
We had a really bad experience with Kitt trying to help but it was bad. He try to sale our Car to carmax but try to commission himself $2,000 from my car. Gave me the wrong appraisal when something told me but it was bad. He try to sale our Car to carmax but try to commission himself $2,000 from my car. Gave me the wrong appraisal when something told me to check myself and man it was an eye opener. Carmax had it to reverse the deal from him to me to make sure I got my money worth of $6,000 then the $4,000 Kitt said they would give me. I confronted him and not even an apology I got from him. My son did a complaint with the general manager and I told him that I personally wanted to hear from him and till this date, nothing. So I gave it some time. Now I’m doing this survey, I will put it on yelp and the Reno page. The incident that happened cannot go unnoticed. It was bad try to do you’re customers wrong when we thought we were making a business relationship. More
