Key Hyundai was the silver lining during a scary situation I had been "band-aiding" my old Saab 95 for a long time when it finally gave out in Manchester, CT, leaving me stranded, 3 hours from family or friend I had been "band-aiding" my old Saab 95 for a long time when it finally gave out in Manchester, CT, leaving me stranded, 3 hours from family or friends in any direction. Repairs to my vehicle would cost more than it was worth, and towing it 3 hours home to Maine was just silly. I was caught ill-prepared...no AAA, minimal insurance, unable to rent a vehicle due to expired license, etc...basically a hot mess. I needed to find a dealership that could get me into a new (to me) vehicle asap, and safely home to my family. Not knowing the area I had to rely on google. Not an enviable position to be in, to say the least. When I read Jill's website and her story I knew this woman-owned dealership was my best bet. My husband sent an urgent email to Jill Merriam, the owner of the dealership, after business hours, from our home in Maine the night I broke down and was staying in a local hotel in Manchester. When I called the dealership the next morning, feeling very anxious about the whole situation, Jill had already advised one of her associates about my situation, and asked her to invite me in!! Unheard of for the owner to take such an interest! This immediately put my mind at ease, and made me feel like these people cared. I called an Uber, with all my stuff in hand, and arrived at Key Hyundai by 10am. I left there at 4pm in a very nice, like new, Nissan Altima with less than 20,000 miles on it, for a fair price and a payment I could afford. I was treated with respect and care, no back and forth, no long negotiations, no hard selling, no pressure whatsoever. Just solutions to my dilemma. Everyone I worked with was kind, courteous, professional and willing to help. My financial and credit situation was not the easiest to work with, and everyone worked hard to get me approved. I was offered a comfortable place to sit, a tour of the facility (pristinely clean!), hot coffee and even a slice of pizza! My solution provider, Tyler Wagoner, was competent, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He has a bright future for sure! He is fortunate, at such a young age, to have found a place like this to build a career, and they are fortunate to have him representing the dealership. More

My experience with that vehicle and with the service department at Key Hyundai left me with very positive feelings toward Hyundai and with this dealership. I decided to start my new search at Key Hyundai and did not need to look elsewhere. It was about 1 week between the time I decided to buy a new vehicle and driving away with a 2016 Veloster. I expect to be looking to Key Hyundai for a 3rd vehicle in a few years. More
