They were very friendly and enlightened me as to my service plan, how long the oil change and car wash would take etc. And, informed me that my (smaller than former vehicle) gas tank had a good 'reserve'. While I was waiting, Jesse Santana chatted small talk with me. He was just as friendly today as he was when I purchased my car from another Sales Rep (who is no longer there). I'd asked if the car wash might possibly include a carpet vacuuming, since a passenger (bad story) sat on an open bag of chips that caused the chip crumbs to scatter throughout the front carpets when she pulled the bag from her seat. I then attempted to put them into my trash bin on the back seat floor, and the bin tipped over and spread the crumbs yet further. Jesse made this happen! I stopped back later (after I gassed up) to chat with Dustin and Jesse -- advising that I set my fear (of running out of gas) at ease. Of course, there was a large amount of praying and pleading with my Hyundai as I actually drove 20 miles once the gas light came on, before getting to a specific gas station to get $ .50/gallon reduced price. When all service issues were over, I had my oil change key fob 'punched' at that time also. I told Jesse that I appreciated his friendliness and steady demeanor, in comparison to the attitude of my original Sales Rep, and that I would return to him for future issues. I will also refer his name to friends/family that are interested in replacing their vehicles. We then noticed that I'd never returned the gas cap, because after filling tank, I had to go inside the gas station for refund and just hopped into driver's seat due to the lines of vehicles waiting to get into a pump lane. By far the worst ever About a month ago I brought my car in because the check engine light popped on. After learning that the warranty is super limited to the second owner, I agreed to have them replace the recalls they brought to my attention. No more than 2 weeks later, to my surprise I am back there again because the turbo system mysteriously started having a problem. After having them diagnose what was wrong with my vehicle ( and calling around to about 11 different shops) I found no one will work on this part other then Hyundai themselves. I started as asking them about if the 2 problems are related, of course i get "we did not touch that part of your vehicle". So $4000 later my entire turbo system has been rebuilt.......Fast forward 4 weeks (today). I am writing this sitting in my kitchen with a rental car in my driveway because my car died. Some how i honestly feel i will be told that this problem is unrelated to either of the first 2! Hopefully I can keep this up to date and how far complaining gets me More
GPS update service request My husband and I have purchased 3 NEW Santa Fe vehicles from Key Hyundai in Manchester, CT. We bring our vehicles there for ALL of our service. This My husband and I have purchased 3 NEW Santa Fe vehicles from Key Hyundai in Manchester, CT. We bring our vehicles there for ALL of our service. This has been 12 years now. Our last car was a 2015 Santa Fe Sport fully loaded for $42,000. It has a backup camera, gps, Bluetooth etc. I have noticed the gps might need a software map update. Wow, so soon but ok, I called service at Key in Manchester, CT and was quoted a price of $199 for the SD card and up to 2 hours of labor at $125 per hour. WHAT!!! I checked it out on Google and the card can be purchased online for $169. There is no "labor" because you just insert the card and do the update. It is a software update, no labor other than hitting a message on the gps screen. RIP OFF. I am sure Key will tell me if I do this it will void any warranty. I have contacted them 3 times to try and get this resolved for less than $450. No results. . More

Have bought 5 cars from Key Hyundai Milford since 2003-Thursday engine light came on-called Key Hyundai and explained I needed my care for military duty for thee next 3 days. Told to bring care up ASAP for work if it could be done. Found out work was needed and parts ordered, issue with warranty which Hyundai was diligently working on. Loaner car given so I could get to my mandatory Army training. Hyundai support person Called all day Friday with update on car-warranty issues and repairs-Excellent customer service. HORRIBLE SERVICE By far THE WORST service department!!! Brought my car there for a rattling noise a couple years ago, they took it apart and couldn't put it back together so I ended up having to pay over $3,000 for a new engine. Picked up my car with THE SAME rattling noise as when I brought it in. Silly me bought another car from them. Brought it in for an oil change on a Friday. *Somehow* the next time I drive it all of a sudden the AC compressor is broken. Okay fine, I pay $1,000 to have it fixed. They call me the next day to pick it up because it's all set. Driving home the AC is making a hissing noise and by the next morning it's no longer working again. Surprise! Bring it back that day. Now all of a sudden it needs $500 worth of more work. SERIOUSLY?!?!?! NEVER doing business there again and will go out of my way to make sure everyone I know knows how crappy you are!!!!! More
Service Department went above and beyond expectations! I have 2 Hyundai Elantras, both have had to have service due to recent recalls. One Saturday I brought my car in, Dustin Maynard was the service rep who checked me in. The repair took only 10 minutes, Dustin had me out very quickly. The following Saturday I brought my son's Elantra in for some recall work and also some minor cosmetic repairs. I had ordered some mirrors to replace the cracked side mirrors, and to my dismay, the wrong mirrors were ordered....for MY car, not my son's! Dustin called me to give me the bad news, but 10 minutes later called back to say that he was able to order the correct mirrors--t the same cost to me (even though they were significantly more money), and was going to have them installed for me at no cost! This was way more than I could have ever expected! I was very appreciative and must commend Dustin Maynard on his customer service skills. He is an asset to Key Hyundai and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about my great treatment at this dealership! More

Sears did the work for $500.00 and said I didn't need most of the work Hyundai said I needed. Very disturbing. Also they charge $200.00 each for transmission and radiator flushes. Sears charges under a hundred dollars apiece. More

In for a "B" service, out with a different car! I was heading for vacation and took my car in for a "b" service. Was an hour wait and I strolled into the showroom. Evon began talking to me about my car and I casually mentioned that I did not enjoy having only 2 doors. I had the Elantra Coupe and really enjoyed it, except for the fact that it only had two doors and I could not wait for my lease to be end...that was it! Evon and Mike Bianchi were a great team to work with and I took a new 4 door car on vacation. Mike worked very hard to make it a great price point for me. I have been leasing cars from this dealership for 7 years and I think they are the very best..the service dept is very friendly and most professional. Being a sales manager myself, I always look to get the service that I give to my clients and Key Hyundai is all about Customer Service. More
