At the heart of this dealership is greed. Customers are just a means for them to get money. We were on a long road trip from Sacramento and as we got into to Los Angeles we thought we woul Customers are just a means for them to get money. We were on a long road trip from Sacramento and as we got into to Los Angeles we thought we would pop into a few dealerships to look at a Suburban z71 we were needing to buy as a tow vehicle. We started at Martin Chevrolet near Torrance. Turns out that Burb they had did not have the magnetic ride control, so I texted a sales rep at Keyes Van Nuys that had one on the lot with all the features we needed. He texted us the window sticker, it had a msrp of 79k. We knew there would be some negotiating. So, we sat in Friday night LA traffic for hours again (after driving 9 hours from NorCal) - and when we got there - they dropped a big bomb on us! They added on another 10k in a dealer markup AND then also another 9k in mandatory after market add ons we had to buy such as a gps alarm system and some protection spray. Out the door they wanted 108k. If they texted this, we would not of sat in LA traffic. The lack of honesty and transparency from this dealership and sales team almost had me vowing never to buy from Chevy again! This would have been our 3rd Suburban! We love this SUV! We walked out of this dealership so disappointed in humanity. Only to find the best treasure the very next day in Harbor Chevrolet in Long Beach! We got close to the same features (minus one pkg I believe) - and out the door we were at 86k. PLUS - Best service! High integrity! Good, honest people! The drive to Long Beach was worth the gold we discovered there in their transparent pricing and working with sales people who still put customers first! We will be repeat customers - for generations! More
