Phantom stall at lights Kia has been reported on the Web to have a "Go" problem with a small number of their "gas saver" models when leaving a light. After entering a "rest" Kia has been reported on the Web to have a "Go" problem with a small number of their "gas saver" models when leaving a light. After entering a "rest" mode at the light to save gas, depressing the gas pedal to leave the light produces no movement causing one to stomp on the gas several times which will eventually propel the car into the intersection. It is totally random happening once a day or five times a day. Also noted was a minor cavortation of the engine when rolling at speed. An initial visit to Grieco with a drive about did not produce the symptom and the computer revealed no problem but they didn't dismiss me as some dealers might have ( I didn't buy the car from them ). They asked me to leave the car with them till the problem showed itself which I did. They gave the car to one of their long-distance mechanics to drive and the symptom happened to him causing them to test all the possible causes leading to a faulty electronic fuel pump. A new fuel pump and a re-calibration of the computer has resolved the problem. When I first drove in, I looked at the number of cars in the waiting area along with the number of people in the waiting room and I was depressed, I was AMAZED at the timely reception time and the initial examination time. I witnessed some of those people you don't want to be with haranguing the staff and the staff handling the nasty people with delicacy and aplomb. ( " I dropped my car off at 9, you drove me home, told me the car would be ready by noon and here it is 2 o'clock, WHERE'S MY CAR!!! " " WHAT? YOU WASHED MY CAR? I HAVE PEOPLE TO WASH MY CAR!!! " ) These people are incredible and I plan to buy my next car from them. More
NEW LEASE AGREEMENT My lease was going to be up in March and i was offered a chance to get into a new lease without any penalties. The process was very simple and easy. I negotiated the price ( normal for car dealerships ) and drove home in my new car without worrying about turning in my old car. Everyone was straight forward and pleasant. In fact I vowed never to buy from Grieco again. I decided I wanted to buy a KIA Sedona and looked at other dralerdhips , but then wanted to give Grieco a chance to make best deal. met Martin Greenberg. He immediately listened to my wants and needs he was patient and had a very calm demeanor about him. He was persistent but gave me my time to shop around and ultimately I chose to purchase a new car from Grieco again because of his attentiveness, professionalism and honesty. He actually located the exact KIA Sedona SXL that I wanted in color, trim, options and more that I didn't even dream of! He personally drove 13 hours Rountrip to Ocala on New Years Day so that I could have my new car! Then he and some of his associates spent hours training me and making sure I was comfortable with all my new bells & whistles! Boy did he turn things around and make me a happy Grieco customer! Give him a raise! More
OK Visit but Overpriced Had car break down ,,,towed to Delray Hyundai....was promptly met by Kristie in service....said she would diagnose problem and call with estimate....s Had car break down ,,,towed to Delray Hyundai....was promptly met by Kristie in service....said she would diagnose problem and call with estimate....shuttle driver(Phil) promptly drove me to work..Phil was a pleasure both on drop off and return to dealership. I knew getting serviced at dealership would be expensive but was a bit shocked at $550.00 to change a starter....having worked at dealership previously should have known what was coming...BUT all work was done promptly and I was out the same day. 'Overall good but expensive experience until I went to pay....Kristie my rep said she would meet me at cashier...after about 10 minutes and the Cashier(who was excellent at Customer Service) calling back to service it was discovered that Kristi had gone to lunch and left me hanging.....with the assistance of the Cashier and then a gentleman from service I was taken care of after a wait at the cashier of 23 minutes. Other than the last snafu....quick, prompt ..but expensive service More

A great car buying expereince We spoke to Tammy on the phone and she set up our appointment. When we came in we met Josh. Josh was friendly and approachable. He spent a lot of time with us and was extremely knowledgeable about all the cars on the lot. When it came time to discuss financing we got a chance to meet Julian. Julian was very helpful and knowledgeable about financing options. He also had on a great tie. After we came to a deal, we went in the back to meet Geraldo? I think that was his name. He was very knowledgeable about the insurance products and very personable. We did not come in to take advantage of the year end deals initially. To be honest the thing that really got us considering it was Tammy's call and her amazing charisma. We were sort of upset she wasn't our salesperson! Josh was a good replacement. More
