I was extremely happy with the trade in and dealing with D.J. Nichols (floor manager). Jon was great! I'm a business owner for 20 years, and understand the importance of teamwork, Delray Kia are team players. I would highly recommend this dealership, and will be talking Kia for a long time. Most importantly, I Love my new Optima SXL. Thank you to everyone at Delray Kia. More
The salesman (Gary) was very kind throughout the entire process of leasing a new Optima. I ran into many difficulties throughout my three days working with the dealership that were not the fault of anyone process of leasing a new Optima. I ran into many difficulties throughout my three days working with the dealership that were not the fault of anyone there, but the fault of my insurance company & they were more than kind and helpful with everything. Gary even came in on his day off to finish my deal for me. I would highly recommend this dealer & salesman. More
My experience at Delray Kia last week was GREAT. I worked with both Gary Battaglia and with Brendan Sternberg in buying my first "new" car which by the way is wonderful! Both sales men were profession worked with both Gary Battaglia and with Brendan Sternberg in buying my first "new" car which by the way is wonderful! Both sales men were professional in explaining any concerns that I had. They were not too pushy and allowed me time to think about my decision... I would highly recommend this Dealership and especially either of these sales professionals to friends and family. More
I spoke to internet sales person Steven and he gave me a very impressive price for the sportage I had wanted. I went to the dealership. The salesman was very nice however the price I was given was $5000.00 very impressive price for the sportage I had wanted. I went to the dealership. The salesman was very nice however the price I was given was $5000.00 more then Steven had quoted me for the exact car. The asst mgr. came over and told me they would not honor the price I was quoted by Steven over the phone. More
This dealership is so involved in its process of churning out sales that they forgot basic courtesy and customer service. The dealership assumed – without asking permission – that it was ok to appraise out sales that they forgot basic courtesy and customer service. The dealership assumed – without asking permission – that it was ok to appraise (which included driving) our vehicle and assumed – without the courtesy of asking – that we wished to take time from our day so they could appraise our car. Even more importantly, when we voiced our concerns, the managers with whom we spoke challenged and argued with us. The customer’s perception of a situation is what matters. Our perception was disregarded. Overall, our perception was that (1) our car was driven without our permission, (2) relocated from where we parked it to an unknown part of the dealership to be appraised without our permission, (3) the dealership had a lack of respect for our time, and (4) the managers were cocky, adversarial and poor listeners. In my view, this dealership should learn to ask a customer what they intend to accomplish, communicate their process to the customer, learn to ask for a customer’s permission as to their personal property (e.g., car) and respect a customer’s time during the process. Our purpose that day was to test drive and find out the price of a vehicle at the dealership given the price we saw online. We test drove a car with the sales person assigned to us. After the test drive, he brought us inside to sit at a table. Our car, which would be our trade-in, was parked right outside and we could see it. The sales person asked if he could take a look at the VIN. We gave him the keys and watched as the sales person took a look. The next thing we knew, someone else was driving off with our car. No one asked if it was ok to drive our car. We had no idea why our car was being driven. No one asked if we had any valuables we wished to remove from the car. When we asked why our car was taken without our permission, we were told it is part of the process. When we responded that to the managers that the point is that they didn’t ask permission to take our car, they became argumentative and confrontational. Though we had this poor experience, we were still interested in the car we test drove. We asked the sales person assigned to us to call with a starting price on the car. Two days later, we received three calls from three different people at this dealer. The first was customer relations with a price for us, the second was the sales person and the third was a manager we had not yet dealt with. The sales manager basically said it is the end of the month and they wanted the sale. More
So I've been petrified of even stepping foot into a dealership due to the vulture-like/pushy stigma that describes most car salesmen and because I honestly didn't have a single clue what I was doing. I dealership due to the vulture-like/pushy stigma that describes most car salesmen and because I honestly didn't have a single clue what I was doing. I popped in and out of a few dealerships and ended up finding myself at Delray Kia which was ridiculously busy. Before I could even consider coming back later due to me being impatient, Brendan introduced himself and was more than accomadating. He was extremely thorough and explained everything in depth which definitely kept me at ease. He spent an immense amount of time with me and smiled the whole way through even when he had to help me explain everything to my father over the phone. Brendan's manager Tyler was also a pleasure and helped making the numbers work for what I was looking for. No one there twisted my arm and I got the EXACT car I wanted and I love it! I'm definitely more than satisfied with my experience working with the two of them and Delray Kia and am so happy with my new purchase. More
After almost being talked into a car I didn't need by the Mazda dealer next door, I found myself looking at new Kia's. Kevin Connoly was the salesman and was very helpful When we could not quite find the r Mazda dealer next door, I found myself looking at new Kia's. Kevin Connoly was the salesman and was very helpful When we could not quite find the right car in the new car lot we looked at used vehicles. Over the course of two days he helped me settle on the car I finally purchased. I was never pressured and am extremely happy the way I was treated by the whole staff More
I went to Delray Kia thinking that my credit was too low to buy a car. I talked to Lance, who was an extremely friendly sales guy. I really thought that I was going to be pushed into a car that I didn't wan to buy a car. I talked to Lance, who was an extremely friendly sales guy. I really thought that I was going to be pushed into a car that I didn't want because of my credit. But after working with me and giving me a great price and walking me through every step. I was able to get a KIA Sportage. I love my car and the whole team at Delray KIA was amazing. Thanks. More
I am SO PISSED! My business partner and I are ready to purchase a new Optima. We go in the first day, drive the Optima - LOVED IT - so the next day my partner and his wife go in and drive one again - the purchase a new Optima. We go in the first day, drive the Optima - LOVED IT - so the next day my partner and his wife go in and drive one again - they loved it. We were working with Sam. The following day I called DJ (a manager) first thing in the morning to let him know I wanted not just one for my partner, but a second car for me. I get voice mail. Left a message, no call back. So I send email about 30 minutes later. The email I get back says Sam will get with us on pricing. 4 hours later, I call back because I haven't heard from anyone. Sam gets on the phone and tells me "Sorry, I'm busy with customers."....what the heck am I? So 2 more hours go by, and he finally calls me back with pricing. A good price for both cars...OK, the price made up for the frustration...so I tell Sam that I'll leave work and we (my business partner and I) will come in and sign and drive. So we left work and went to the dealership...I again have to wait for Sam, but I decided to take the car for a ride again to kill time...loved it, ready to go! At that point, Sam tells us that he doesn't have the models in stock that we wanted: the SX with the Navi/Tech system. Tells me that he can get the cars here in 48 hours. Now I'm VERY disappointed. I left work early and so did my partner which COSTS US MONEY, when he could have told us everything over the phone and we could have stayed at work. So then he asks what colors we want...I wanted white, my partner the silver. I fill out the credit app, and then give him my Amex to charge $250/vehicle DEPOSIT to get the cars here. Not happy about that, but OK, they still don't believe I'm serious I guess. Sam disappears for another 10 minutes and comes back and tells me he can't locate either of those colors within a 50 mile radius. OK, now I"m getting really angry...so I go to the manager, and find myself surrounded by Sam, the manager I knew, and some other big guy who says he's the manager too, and told me with his mean-face that I have to pick other colors. At that point I had enough. I was tricked into the dealership. They clearly knew they didn't have anything in stock for me, They tried to get me to sign on something without giving me the pricing in writing. I took my credit card back, and told them I'll go elsewhere. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! I was planning on driving a new car home, so on top of everything else, I had to burden someone to take me home afterwards. There's something to be said about honesty and integrity...maybe the owner of Delray KIA should look it up and pass on the definition to his staff. I won't be back, and probably will not buy a KIA now because of this terrible experience. More
Delray Kia was by far one of the best car dealerships i have ever been to. I have purchased many cars over the years, and never have i had service quite as exceptional. I worked with Gary B. he was so pati have ever been to. I have purchased many cars over the years, and never have i had service quite as exceptional. I worked with Gary B. he was so patient and very knowledgeable of the product. For every question there was educated answer. He worked for a couple of days with us, never giving up hope or giving less than his all to make us satisfied customers. He approached us with a calm, no hassle way which made us feel like he was on our team, never once did we feel pressured by him or obligated. We also had the pleasure of working with Dj and Tyler the managers of Delray Kia. They were very helpful and fair. Felt like we were respected as customers not just another sale. We got a great deal on our 2012 optima ex. We are overall extremely happy with our experience at Delray Kia. My family and I recommend this dealership no matter if your looking for a Kia or a used vehicle. No matter how much or time and money spent,it will be worth spending at this amazing car dealership. The whole process overall was easy, painless and in fact quite enjoyable, Delray Kia will be our dealership for life. More
