I went to Kia services of Downtown LA because of a strange sound my car was making. An associate told me that it was caused by a damaged tire. I agreed because the driver's side tire had a small round strange sound my car was making. An associate told me that it was caused by a damaged tire. I agreed because the driver's side tire had a small round bump on the side. They told me that they did not have the tire in stock and to come back a few days later. I returned (2nd visit) and after an hour and a half, they told me that the new tire was damaged and they would have to order a new one and to come back another day. I returned (3rd visit) and waited for 30 mins and then they came and told me that the warehouse sent them the wrong tire and to come back another day. I returned (4th visit) and waited an hour and a half until the tire was replaced. I got home and noticed that the driver's side tire (the damaged tire) was still there and they actually replaced the passenger side tire (a good tire)!! I go back (5th visit!!) and they offer to check the dumpster (or wherever they place old tires) and reinstall the tire to the car. I reluctantly agree. They offered a free oil change, which at this point felt more like a slap in the face. I checked the car and noticed that the tire has a larger than usual gap in the section between the tire and the rim. I can tell the tire's integrity has been compromised and I no longer feel safe driving my Kia. I am highly dissatisfied with the service and would prefer to have a new tire installed in place of the one picked up from their throw-away section. I lost a good tire thanks to Kia services and I would expect a replacement tire in return. At this point I am stressed and no longer have peace of mind. I need something to be done about my tire as soon as possible and I also need it to be on record that my tire was improperly taken out and reinstalled in case of a future accident relating to the tire. Kia services management did not satisfy my customer needs and left me feeling lost and anxious. I hope that Corporate can do something to rectify this stressful and potentially dangerous situation that I am currently in. I have already called about the issue, but I felt the need to leave a comment on record in case of a potential tire related accident. More
