I purchased a 2017 Kia Optima on 1/17/23. After getting the car home I noticed the drivers side tail light was brok. Cody the sales rep who sold me the vehicle was informed of the broken tail light on 1/18/23 and he said he would have the tail light fixed. Before I could get the vehicle into have it sercived the car started randomly alarming and the car system showed that the right rear passenger door was open when it was closed. This issue drained my battery to the point where I could even unlock the doors with my key fab. By this point I was frustrated because I had only had this car a couple weeks and my temper was short with staff. When I got the car in, and voiced my concerns. Hugo the used car sales manager stated how he put all this work into the car. I was never provided me the carfax when I purchased the vehicle. I have asked for a copy of the carfax and an invoice of the services Hugo did. Which I have yet to receive. When called by Jesse the service advisor I was informed that the latch was replaced. I asked if the tail light was also replaced. Jesse stated he wasn't aware that the tail light was being replaced. When I asked if the tail light was getting repaired I was placed on hold. When Jesse returned I was told that the tail light wasn't getting replaced because they put a $700 latch in. I was told that I would have to pay for a replacement tail light. I appreciate the latch them being fixed and pray I don't run into any other issues. Thankfully, I have family and friends who have offered to help replace the tail light. Lesson learned. I will never be doing business with Kia of St. Cloud ever again and won't recommend you guys to anyone after this experience. More
Put money down on a telluride. Came in over a year later after they said it would be here in six to 8 months. They low balled me on my trade in and said that they would give me $7 Came in over a year later after they said it would be here in six to 8 months. They low balled me on my trade in and said that they would give me $7000 for it. When the vehicle did come in (not the one I originally ordered) the price went up $5000. Then they said that I had to have a trade in to get the telluride. They then said that they would only give me $4500 for my vehicle since it had more miles on it and was a year older. I told them that I would pay full sticker price for the SUV and they refused to sell it to me since I would not have a trade in. I refused the SUV. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and the attorney general. I encourage others to do the same. I think they were taking advantage of a woman and a senior citizen. More
There's a lot of fraud like identity theft, social security theft, tax invasion, cash deals that are being reported as stolen. Stolen vehicles and insurance fraud. There is a reason KIA doesn’t put the prices on their vehicles in writing. They will scam you and later tell you the price was higher than they originally told you. KIA uses a 75 month payment plan. M vehicles in writing. They will scam you and later tell you the price was higher than they originally told you. KIA uses a 75 month payment plan. Most lenders use a 72 month payment plan. Unless you are a human calculator you won’t know what the real payments should be. They will show you one sheet of an estimate of costs. Put down rust proofing, taxes are estimated and not actual. Later they will tell you they will pay for the warranty. Then the rerun the numbers and remove items you wanted so they can get you to pay for the warranty. They slyly shift to using the monthly amount instead of the larger numbers. If you stop to look closer at paper’s they will distract you and pull the sheet away from you and you won’t get a chance to really look over the numbers to see they changed them. They will also not give you what they said they would for your trade in. Be extremely careful and I would strongly recommend never purchasing from this dealership. I will never go back. I paid brand new price for a used 4 year old car with miles on it. And I noticed later that there is a 30 day 1,500 mile warranty and this was null and void before I had the keys in my hand because the dealership put on several thousand miles on the car before selling it to me. The paperwork reflected the mileage when they received the car. Do Not do business with this dealership! Their story will change for anything you say after the papers are signed. More
This is the 7th vehicle we have purchased from Kua on St. Cloud. I brought my new 2022 Sorento in for the 1st oil change and a transmission update recall and ended up with a 3 inch gouge in my leather steeri Cloud. I brought my new 2022 Sorento in for the 1st oil change and a transmission update recall and ended up with a 3 inch gouge in my leather steering wheel! About 5 minutes after leaving the dealership I noticed it, returned and a service tech took pictures. I waited 4 days for Lucas Rogers to call me back, he told me there was no way the damage was done there! He stated he has seen this damage caused by a wedding ring when making a turn and the wheel auto corrects! I am short and the damage looks to be caused by someone getting in my vehicle without moving the seat back! The portion of my steering wheel that was damaged can't even be grasped because it is at the base of the steering wheel, not to mention the direction of the damage doesn't match with the direction a ring would be! I also have a left shoulder injury and have no strength in my left arm! I have never been talked to so poorly by someone that takes pride in getting 10/10 for customer satisfaction! I have filed a complaint with the BBB and know for a fact we will go to a different Kia dealership going forward! More
They will force you to buy extra packages that don’t benefit you. Rather than simply marking up the price of the car. Please read the reviews. They have more one star reviews and almost any dealership o benefit you. Rather than simply marking up the price of the car. Please read the reviews. They have more one star reviews and almost any dealership on this website. Considering how small they are that should tell you something. I really don’t care about their clients, Not customer service base. They never apologize for uncouth behavior. Run…. Go elsewhere More
I purchased a 2020 Kia Soul from St Cloud Kia. I paid an ADDITIONAL 2,500 dollars for a “used car certification” warranty. The vehicle had 20,000 miles on it. It needed an oil change in 2,000 mile I paid an ADDITIONAL 2,500 dollars for a “used car certification” warranty. The vehicle had 20,000 miles on it. It needed an oil change in 2,000 miles AFTER PURCHASING FOR 30,000 dollars…. And I was told my brakes only had 5 mm left and needed replacement within 5,000 miles. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TOTAL SCAM ON WARRANTY. It does NOTHING. I would not recommend. They sell cars with problems and then expect you to take care of it after over paying. Run to another dealership. Don’t buy there. More
Quoted $688 to have antenna installed in my car by Jesse Jose. I brought the part in myself that I bought as certified kia part and used my vin number to confirm. After 3 hours I was told the part was i Jose. I brought the part in myself that I bought as certified kia part and used my vin number to confirm. After 3 hours I was told the part was incorrect. Told I owe $688 that it my fault the part was wrong. But they willing to cut me a deal: I was told if I ordered their part today it would only cost me $330in labor today but have to come back in 3 days and pay $688. I was told the mechanic Jeff DentZ had to put my old antenna back on car because they can’t put my car outside in parting lot with a hole in the roof. This seemed strange that they couldn’t cover my car in plastic until got correct part instead of charging me double in labor. Definitely sensed they trying to rip off an older women. I finally got the manager Lucas Rodgers’s to accept $330 for labor. I later certified that the part I bought was correct for my car. I have filed BBB and Attorney General Complaint about this rip off scam. More
