When I called, I was left on hold for over an hour, with no response. Every. Single. Time. Yet, when I visited the dealership there was always someone sitting at the desk. So who knows why my calls were never answered. I was lied to multiple times and given nothing to compensate my experience. The dealership also had no loaners for WEEKS so I had to pay over $1500 in rental fees to accommodate their inefficiency and lack of urgency. Absolutely awful experience. More

I emailed the dealer the morning of to make sure it was still available, no response. I called the number I had for a sales mgr and left a message. I called the number the salesperson left in her email. When she answered she said that she was getting ready to head to the dealership and should be there 11:35-40. I asked about the veh because I didn’t want to make the trip if it wasn’t there. She didn’t know and had to call me back. At arrival, the salesperson had to move cars to bring the veh to the front. She knew we were coming, why wasn’t it ready? I knew what I wanted and had financing. After leaving the table many times to speak with the Mgr/Finance Mgr we asked to speak to the Mgr directly regarding pricing from their “3rd party website link” that was emailed to me vs their website which finally came to resolution. We sat at the salespersons table for 15 min once price of veh was settled thinking we were waiting to go to finance but really, they were waiting on me to cough up some money and the way it was presented made me feel like they thought I wasn’t going to pay for it!? Again, lack of communication. They didn’t send the car to be cleaned because I had not paid yet. Finally, the manager had to advise the salesperson to send car for cleaning as I was on the phone with the bank to pick up check and he stated, “she has an 800+ credit score, she is good for it.” Salesperson was more worried about the review and her commission, which was mentioned during the buying process where she showed us on her computer noting that anything under a 9 would result in less commission, but also by text message that it was the end of the month and to please fill out review and less than a 100% again would decrease her commission, then making sure the car was acceptable to the customer. Vehicle was not inspected for quality control prior to handing me the keys. When I advised of scratches and dirt remaining, she was hesitant to get the mgr because she had done that before and felt she was labeled “as being a problem.” My sister was agitated by this and said she would get him. We showed him the veh scratches and I was appalled that he could care less, like it was no big deal. I felt as if, “oh well, we got you 60k now it’s your problem.” He tried to explain it away “It’s a third party we use, not our porters, basically not our fault.” He tried to say it was from the white stickers on the vehicles when they arrive. Asked us to come look at another vehicle on the lot and bets they were on that one too. THEY WERE NOT. He offered to send it back down for another wash, but we had been there for almost 4 hours, and I did not want to wait. This deal should have been completed in much less time given my ducks were in a row.Veh Resistall coating was poorly executed IF IT WERE EVEN APPLIED? THE VEHICLE WAS SO DIRTY THE APPLICATION COULD NOT HAVE BEEN PROPER leaving overspray and blotches on vehicle. Sales Mgr nor salespersons seemed to have much to say about the poor workmanship. Mentioned for it to be buffed out. WE HAD TO REQUEST AN IOU to ensure the scratches were going to be buffed and issue resolved. The tech who does this service only works on Saturdays and when I contacted him, he is out of town until mid-August. After meeting with Finance, I was told they would bring out my paperwork, but I had to ask for it. The salesperson was going over final things inside the veh I asked if there was info for the coatings that was purchased at an additional price, and she stated that the finance mgr should have given that to me. She had to go back inside for it. At this point I asked could there be any other items of info I’m missing to which I just received an uncomfortable snicker. When you're spending your hard-earned money, you expect to be completely satisfied with your purchase and Kia of Bowie didn't hit that mark. More
