Excellent, Friendly Service I originally had no intention of purchasing a new 2019 Kia Sportage and was at the dealership for a repair on my 2007 Sportage. After looking around I originally had no intention of purchasing a new 2019 Kia Sportage and was at the dealership for a repair on my 2007 Sportage. After looking around the lot and talking to Mario I decided to take the plunge. I really was first interested in a Sorento since it is larger than the Sportage. Mario was great in trying to helping me find an exterior and interior color combination I wanted and after spending a lot of time with me it was determined not to be available. Mario then showed me some options for the Sportage and there it was - a beautiful Pacific Blue Metallic. The new Sportage has a larger cargo area than my 2007 which is what I was looking for. Mario had the patience of a saint working with me and really helped me in making my decision and I am so thrilled that I made this purchase. More

All aspects of the final checkout were handled proficiently See my title above. Only one problem: I am a retired Navy Captain with 27 years service. When I presented my military ID, I was told that my ID couldn See my title above. Only one problem: I am a retired Navy Captain with 27 years service. When I presented my military ID, I was told that my ID couldn't be copied, and therefore it couldn't be used as proof of my service. They asked for my DD214 which I didn't have. I was then charged $400 on my credit card. After some discussion, it was agreed that my pay receipt would be acceptable. I returned to the dealership the next day with my latest receipt. The $400 was then credited back to me. This is the only instance in my life I have ever been told that my Navy ID was not acceptable! More
Vey easy. They were considerate and easy to understand. Horrible I was almost charged for a service that was covered under Kia warranty. I had an 8 am appt. Arrrive at 740am. That was great. The person at the front informed me that I could wait because I was the third person to come in. I said Ok. By 1040 am my mother and I grew tired and walked over the bridge to Hartford to get food. On our way back I was info that what was fixed was not under warranty and instead of charging me 169.99 they would charge 129.99. I asked why I was being charge. The rep stated because there was work done on the car. I asked from where and he stated from another kia dealership and because it was at another kia dealership and not there then I'm required to pay. I found that to be very odd. I thought it didn't matter as long as it was done by kia. He stated that was the rule there by management. Eventually he said nevermind and refused to take my payment after I told him that It made no sense and I will look into it with the company More
