Crooks! I would give 0 stars if allowed. We were told our 2013 Optima needed a new turbo ($2800) after the check engine light came on for the second time in a I would give 0 stars if allowed. We were told our 2013 Optima needed a new turbo ($2800) after the check engine light came on for the second time in a week. We questioned why the turbo was not replaced at the time of the engine recall 18,000 miles prior. We were told the turbo is an accessory and not part of the engine. To add more insult to injury, Kia said they wouldn't replace or assist us with the cost as we were not loyal customers because we chose to have maintenance work (oil changes, brakes, front end etc.) done on our TWO Kias at another facility. Disgusted, we took the Optima to our trusted mechanic and were informed the turbo was fine. The rod just needed lubed and adjusted--cost $0. Needless to say, we will never buy another Kia or any other vehicle from Al Serra. More
