I really only had two days to find the perfect car, so I went out armed with a lot of info and a list of the features I wanted, and a clear idea of the age and mileage I'd consider. My first stop was Toyota Round Rock. The sales guy was a nightmare. His entire attention was on my husband. I finally got to ask my qeuestions, and then without even checking inventory first, he said I couldn't get those features for the price range. I knew offhand that there were at least 10 models of cars that fit my criteria, so I felt compelled to say "you mean you don't have any on your lot right now, right?" He confessed. I asked him to check his inventory just to be sure, because their website showed a couple the day before. He went off, came back, and immediately tried to sell my husband a new truck. Eventually he said he had one used car to show me. It didn't fit my criteria, so we began to leave. On the way out, he told my husband "come back and see me when you want to buy a truck" and then let out the longest and creepiest giggle I've ever heard. My husband and I couldn't drive away fast enough. The next stop was Kia, and we were both already on edge and ready for the worst. Fortunately, we had the exact opposite experience. We were greeted as we walked up, with a friendly and positive salesman who threw open the doors and welcomed us to walk down the red carpet. The salesman addressed ME first and mainly, while still making friendly conversation with my husband and putting us both at ease. I gave him my list, and he immediately showed us to the perfect car and off we went on the test drive. He showed me all the cool modern stuff that the car does, and preset all kinds of stuff for me, like Pandora and automatic mirrors. I was completely sold and i knew i was not going to have any buyers remorse. This car was so much more awesome than I expected and completely in my price range. Next stop was the money guy. They have a special relationship with our credit union, so it was quick any easy. The bumper to bumper 10yr warrantee was thousands less than my last car and let me have complete confidence that I'd be taken care of. I'm so pleased with the whole experience, and only wish I'd gone straight to Kia in the first place. Thank You! PS. Make sure to try the fancy coffee machine in the waiting area. Chocolate latte!
