I felt very comfortable dealing with Michael and Lon. No pressure, very friendly and were very conscience of my needs. I would go back to this dealership in a heartbeat. pressure, very friendly and were very conscience of my needs. I would go back to this dealership in a heartbeat. More

I want to first say that I never had a car payment prior to this purchase so I was very weary of dealers and salesmen. I was greeted by Lon who treated myself and my fiancee with the upmost humility. I we to this purchase so I was very weary of dealers and salesmen. I was greeted by Lon who treated myself and my fiancee with the upmost humility. I went in with a monthly out of pocket price in mind, a trade in and a specific down payment. Due to my credit, I could not the car I initially had intended to purchase and have the monthly payment I wanted unless I was willing to put more money down (which I didn't have). I felt I was out of luck. Mike and Lon pretty much bent over backwards to get me into a car that I now absolutely love. They worked with financing to make us happy. Their customer service and the fact that they didn't pressure me made us feel like they wanted to help. It wasn't about selling a car for them, it was about making us happy. There was absolutely no pressure or haggling. They were honest and to the point. Would definitely recommend this place.. More
I Would like to pay tribute to Lon, Michael, and Dave over at King Mitsubishi/ Hyundai in Deerfield Beach. I recently purchased a used Santa Fe from there lot and I'm very pleased with my purchase.Lon at over at King Mitsubishi/ Hyundai in Deerfield Beach. I recently purchased a used Santa Fe from there lot and I'm very pleased with my purchase.Lon attended me very well, and Michael and Dave gave additional support to iron out the details. At no time did I feel uncomfortable as I took every opportunity to explore all my options. I believe these guys did everything they could to make this deal as fair as possible to all parties involved. Buying a new or used car can be as stressful as planning a wedding ceremony or buying a house. In this case, looking back at the way I was treated and what I got out of it. I would have to say it went very well and I'm a happy driver of a 2007 Santa Fe. Sincerely H.M. Heffner More
Let me start off by saying that buying a new car sucks. I hate having to deal with the salesmen at the dealerships and feeling like chum with the sharks circling me. The finance people are condescending a I hate having to deal with the salesmen at the dealerships and feeling like chum with the sharks circling me. The finance people are condescending and arrogant and I generally don't like driving by a car dealership never mind walking in one. I had a few bad experiences right off the bat at other dealerships but I finally found one I could deal with and that dealer was King Mitsubishi in Deerfield Beach, Florida. I was called by salesman Lon Lonker after I filled out an online form looking for a new car. Immediately I told him that I was a no bullish** kind of guy and really don't want to be jerked around nor do I have time to negotiate or haggle. I want to see what he had to offer and lay it on the table. I won't put up with the usual car salesman tactics...like let me talk to my manager...blah blah blah. Lon told me that he would put something together for me and when he had it ready he would call me. He said if I didn't like the deal I could walk out and that would be that. When I arrived he had a car ready for me to look out and the numbers laid out. I did a test drive and a walk around. His manager Mike Hollingsworth was right there and we chatted while Lon got the preliminary paperwork started. Mike Hollingsworth was an up front guy who could appreciate my no hassle attitude and was helpful in getting my paper work in order. In fact Mike got me my insurance information because I didn't have a valid card with me. Lon and Mike introduced me to the finance guy Scott even before we started. He was a nice young fellow who also was clued into my attitude and my extreme distaste for haggling and bull. Later when I walked over to finance Scott was ready for me and things were a bit grim as far as my credit. But I have to tell you, Scott and Mike did their best to get me what I wanted and needed. No disrespect, no condescension and no bullish**. I got my car at the price and interest rate I wanted. I drove my car off the lot and that was the end...so I thought. My wife noticed a few details with the car in the way of presentation. I thought I was out of luck since I left the lot without saying anything to Lon or Mike. I received a call from Lon a day or so later to ask me how I was enjoying my car and if I was satisfied. I told him about some of the things my wife saw and told him that I thought it was my bad for not noticing it. Lon's reaction was quite surprising. He said, "absolutely not! We want to make sure you are completely satisfied and if we missed something we will make it right." He told me to come in at my convenience and he would put his best detailer on my car. About a week later I called Lon and asked if his offer still stands. He told me that both he and Mike insist that I bring the car down so they could give it a good going over. I did later that day and I want to tell you...they did a great job. I was right there and anything I saw, even the tiniest thing, they cleaned it. I think actually I was being a bit knit picky but they didn't seem to care. They wanted me to be happy, and I was. King Mistubishi has earned my business for as long as Lon Lonker and Mike Hollingsworth are there. The were totally attentive to my needs and adjusted their way of doing things to accommodate my rather snarky attitude. We spoke as men and there were no punches pulled. These guys are truly the way you wish car dealers and dealerships would all operate. If they could get away with it their new motto should be: King Mitsubishi: The No Bullsh** Dealership! Thanks guys....and If I could get my wife off her butt, we wold be down there trying to get her into a nice Outlander! More

Please know up front, I enjoyed the respect and diligence of Dave Perry (salesperson). Beyond that, the owner and final result were disappointing. I had come to an agreement with Richard (later to find he of Dave Perry (salesperson). Beyond that, the owner and final result were disappointing. I had come to an agreement with Richard (later to find he deceived me). After much research and contemplation, I returned to speak with the dealership about purchase. I spoke with Dave (approachable and seemingly attentive) whom did everything I could ask for to make the sale. In the end though, Dave found out the price I was told would not be honored. The deal therefore fell through, as I am not confident the owner will back up deals he makes in order to hook a sale. More
A rather disreputable bunch who failed to honor a firm deal; and used manipulation, scheming and chicanery on me. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. deal; and used manipulation, scheming and chicanery on me. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
This is probably the WORST car dealership in Florida and probably the US. The tone is set at the top by Ian Burlikoff, a surly, cocky person who leads one of the worst managed dealerships I have ever been probably the US. The tone is set at the top by Ian Burlikoff, a surly, cocky person who leads one of the worst managed dealerships I have ever been in. I lease a car every 3 years and decided on the Santa Fe. I did have a GREAT salesperson, professional, honest - Tony Urchoili and tried to give him my business. He was out and so I tried to contact the sales manager to make an offer on a car so that Tony would get credit. I am a business professional-I own my own company and am a successful small business owner. I called the dealership and normally the phone rang a MINIMUM of 12 rings before anyone picked up--customer service? I would not be in business if my customers had to wait 12 or more rings to speak with someone. The tone was set with the receptionist, monotone, not very helpful or friendly! I even told her it should not be this difficult to buy a car so she knew the nature of my call (didn't matter!). I tried calling 3 times and each time was sent to voice mail, until I asked her for the general manager who I was told was Effron Taylor and I found out that is not true (the receptionist did not even know who was who at the dealership!). I relayed my experience in trying to reach the dealership and he said sorry and was impatient and basically had the attitude - get to the point - if you are buying a car I will speak to you and if not, bug off! I told him the car I wanted to purchase. He said he did not have it. I told him it was on the website and I saw the car, that he has it. I gave him the VIN # and he located it. I gave him my offer and he said he thought it was too low but that he would WORK THE NUMBERS and get back to me. That was on a Thursday night at 6 pm. I gave him my office and cell number and told him I would purchase a Santa Fe by Sept 30. I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM, not one word. Do they sell that many Hyundais at King Hyundai that my purchase was NOT important to them. I think not! Well, I did purchase my Santa Fe from HYUNDAI OF NEW PORT RICHEY and it was one of the BEST experiences of any dealership I have purchased from. I purchased the car Sept 30 just as I indicated to King I would. I got a call from Tony at King the next day asking about purchasing the car. He was NEVER given the message, the sales manager never told him I called, made the offer or tried to work out a deal with me. I drove to the King dealership and met face to face the GM, Ian Burlikoff, who was rude, impatient and condescending--HE LOST A SALE for this dealership as well as for this sales person and I told him I would tell everyone I can TO AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS -- they are rude, no customer service, lie and just don't care about YOU, the consumer. If I ever treated my customers like I was treated, my business would be closed. IF you find you MUST go there, then go see Tony Urchoili and at least you will be told the truth. I suggested though with his level of professionalism and honesty he should find another dealership to work for. They are NOT worthy of him. BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT GO TO KING HYUNDAI!!!!! More
