They took my lack of savvy as a sign of weakness and proceeded to take advantage of me. I told them my limits with monthly payments and the size of vehicle I needed based on my family size. They stated I was sold a 2011 Chrystler Town and Country, I was told the car had a few minor issues, but they were documented and they would fix them with no cost to me, needless to say that I was lied to again. The finance director Dominic told me I was approved for $350 payments, however a week later asked me to come back because he'd made a mistake, my payments would actually be $385, I reluctantly came back and signed additional paperwork. About 20 days later he called again with another blunder on his part, stating my rate was actually $420, so I said that was too much and he told me that I would have to return the vehicle. Because I had no other choices, I obliged, from that point the car was in and out of the shop, at one point being in the shop over 30 days. I had to drive a rental car on top of pay my car payments, the deductible for the repairs as well. I complained to the GM the floor manager to anyone who would listen. Also, when I purchased the car I was not given a new key, or even a back up key. So a few months later the key broke while I was out of town and I had to pay $300 to get a new one from a local locksmith, I was then told that the year of the car wasn't 2011 like I was quoted, but 2010! I was floored. I have been just driving this car and paying $420 monthly and literally struggling. So I reached out to a reputable dealership and they did some digging to find out that I was signed into a simple loan with the finance company by the dealership, whereas the finance company gets a huge percentage of interest paid first before anything is paid to the principal, for the last 24 months, I have paid close to 10K towards a car that was sold/financed at 15K. Of that 10K I have spend only $1400 has gone towards the principal. The car is literally falling a part and I don't know what to do, it is not bluebook valued at 2K and I am locked into a 72 months contract with a lemon and because I am so upside down no one will finance me. I am beyond hurt that human beings could do this to someone. I wish I could rate them at ZERO because they are scripted liars, and come to find out the team that organized this botch deal are no longer working there. More

headache.. customer service is absolutely terrible. Before purchasing my car I noticed that Sean Hargrove responded to a lot of unsatisfied customers, so i immed customer service is absolutely terrible. Before purchasing my car I noticed that Sean Hargrove responded to a lot of unsatisfied customers, so i immediately emailed him to tell him what I was looking for (i was originally referred by a coworker). Throughout this entire process Sean has been great! However, I live 2 hrs away so on the day I was able to visit the dealership he was off. Lucient was my salesman. He seemed like a great one at 1st, but since Ive gotten the car (less than a month) he hasn't responded to any emails or phone calls that I've done regarding minor issues with the car. So I had to refer back to Sean for help. Then on today, I got a call from Lucient saying I needed to come all the way back to chicago to sign a paper that was added to the contract and I would be compensated for mileage. When I arrive, Lucient isn't there and I talk to Bill. He asked me if he sold me the car and when I said no, he literally walked away like I wasn't standing there. A complete dick! Everyone there is unprofessional and rude. When I told the financial guy that Lucient said I would be compensated for mileage, he laughed. They are seriously a joke. The only good thing I received was my car and it almost wasnt worth the foolery. The car is nice and I haven't had any major problems so far. 2015 Jeep Compass. More
worth the drawbacks FIrst off, this place is crazy busy so go early for best experience. I saw a great deal online, so great that it was worth the trek down there to see FIrst off, this place is crazy busy so go early for best experience. I saw a great deal online, so great that it was worth the trek down there to see if it was legit. They didn't try any funny stuff and honored the price on the car I wanted. Overall it was well worth it, I mean it nicer buying a car in the suburbs but the same car I wanted was 2 thousand more everywhere else. You just have to deal with some of there clientele who are a little loud. One lady was screaming at them for repossesing her car calling them crooks. The manager was nice and calm with her, I mean lady if you dont make your car payment your car gets repossesed. It's not the dealers fault. I can see this probably happens alot there. So if you can deal with a lack of peace and quiet it is worth saving thousands of dollars for 3 hours of your life More

I purchased a used 2007 Ford Escape from Kingdom Chevrolet. After the purchase, I took it to 3 different mechanics to have the "Check Engine" light issue repaired. The computer was showing a "Camshaft timing" error. Eventually, after a lot of time, energy and money invested in diagnosis, it was determined that the engine in the vehicle was incorrect. We don't know which model year or style this engine is for, but it is definitely not for this vehicle. I called Kingdom Chevrolet to let them know the situation. Their response was to stonewall and claim they have zero liability for this. All of my paperwork says that I purchased a 2007 Ford Escape. Nothing on the paperwork states that I was purchasing the engine for a different vehicle. I did not agree to purchase the body of one vehicle and the engine of another. This was a material fact not disclosed to me prior to the purchase of this vehicle. More
3rd purhcase from Kingdom This is my 3rd purchase from kingdom chevy personally and I've also sent numerous relatives and friends that I've sent there. I just wanted to get the This is my 3rd purchase from kingdom chevy personally and I've also sent numerous relatives and friends that I've sent there. I just wanted to get the word out that this is a wonderful establishment to purchase a vehicle from and I'm taken aback as to how they would have any bad reviews. The one things I have noticed in my dealings is they are an extremely busy dealership with a wide range of cars so maybe it takes a little extra patience to purchase a car there but the deals I've gotten and the customer service I've received have been well worth it More

During my search I kept seeing kingdom pop up with lots of choices and prices that seemed to good to be true. I did my research and found several bad reviews about kingdom which caused me some concern. I decided to call the dealerships sales manager to ask how I would be treated if I decided to come in to purchase a vehicle. He assured me I would be treated with the utmost respect and he would personally assure my satisfaction. I decided to give them a try since their prices were thousands less than other dealers for the same car. I was more than pleasantly surprised by the customer service I received and the quality of the vehicle for the price I paid. The only drawback I can come up with is they are extremely busy but so is Costco, must be the prices!!! I would highly recommend checking them out as long as you a bit of patience for an incredible deal More

sold dangerous criminally negligent car Wednesday March 25th I called Kingdom Chevrolet, Chicago Ill. regarding a 2005 Dodge Stratus listed on Car Fax and Kingdom Chevrolet’s website. I t Wednesday March 25th I called Kingdom Chevrolet, Chicago Ill. regarding a 2005 Dodge Stratus listed on Car Fax and Kingdom Chevrolet’s website. I told the sales rep Cleveland Gallowa that I was looking for a car with decent mileage, good shape and ran well for use in heavy driving. I asked about the Dodge Stratus at which time he said he didn’t know much about it, only what the Car Fax said. We arrived, David Wiley, and myself around 10 am Thursday March 26th to look at the Dodge. The body appeared to be in decent shape and the mileage at 128,225 for a 2005 was acceptable. I asked if the vehicle had been inspected and Mr. Gallowa stated that all vehicles are looked over before sold. After entering the car it was apparent that the shocks and or struts would need to be replaced and an alignment but the vehicle appeared to run well. The total cost for the Dodge was $1835.52. Friday March 27th David Wiley called me in a panic that the driver’s side front wheel was sitting at an angle, with the bottom of the wheel angled under the vehicle and the top angled out of the wheel well. Monday March 30th David Wiley, followed by my husband Walter Jones, drove the Dodge to our mechanic, Chris Wallen of Wallen Auto in Michigan City, In. Tuesday March 31st Chris Wallen called and said the front driver’s side wheel had folded under the car due to a broken control arm, sheared bolts in the cradle, separation of the cv axle shaft. Upon further inspection both upper ball joints, hub bearing assembly, sway bar link, both rear upper strut mounts, water pump, oil pressure gauge switch had to be replaced just to make the vehicle legally safe to drive. 4 days later the total cost of repairs was $1757.38. Monday April 6th I called Kingdom Chevrolet to speak to a manager regarding the situation. Nobody returned my call. Thursday April 9th a lady called from Kingdom Chevrolet asking all sorts of question as a survey on how satisfied we were. I explained the situation and that it was illegal for a dealership to sell a vehicle that wasn’t safe to street worthy or safe to drive and this constituted criminal negligence and needed to be addressed. I also let her know I had called Monday with no response. She was upset about the situation and said she’s tell the manager and someone would get in touch with me. Monday April 13th my husband Walter Jones called and spoke with Shane, the Sales Manager. Shane told Walter that the vehicle was supposed to be for parts only, that’s why the price was so low, however nowhere on any site or listing was “for parts only” listed. Walter told him this and Shane said fine bring back the car and we’ll reimburse you the $1400 you paid for the car, not any of the taxes, fees etc or the cost of repairs, just the initial cost of the car. Walter said that wasn’t going to happen especially considering the amount of money we spent on repairs and that they would turn around and sell it for a great deal more. Shane then told Walter he would pay $500 and that was it, take it or deals done. Walter said that wasn’t enough, reminding of the illegality of the sell and the criminal negligence. Shane hung up saying do what you gotta do. Thursday April 16th I called leaving a message for Shane telling him to call me, reminding him that he sold an illegal car, it was criminally negligent and people could have died if David had hit one of the craters on 94 going home to Indiana. We needed to discuss the situation, coming to a decent agreement as I was trying to avoid any legal ramifications. Shane never returned my call. Now there is a loud rattle getting louder all the time and burning oil so badly we add a quart of oil daily. We’ve already been told by 3 mechanics that the oil pump is going out and the bearing are wearing out which means that the engine will seize and will be toast. To repair the engine or replace will cost over $3000 and we’ve already invested around $3600. Horrible experience and still going. More
