The disconnect came when it came time to sign and agree to financing. I was asked three times to accept 72-month financing when I stated from the beginning I did not want to do this. Finally, the sales manager refused to accept the terms I had made very clear from the beginning I did not want to go beyond. I know this is a common tactic, but I thought if I was very clear from the beginning of my interaction with a dealership, I could avoid this experience. The disconnect between salesman, finance, and sales manager tells me this dealership lacks integrity. More

I had an absolutely awful experience getting my car serviced (which is incredibly disappointing since I work just down the street and this is by far the most convenient location to get my car serviced) serviced (which is incredibly disappointing since I work just down the street and this is by far the most convenient location to get my car serviced). I got a flat tire and after a few hours of trying to get my spare tire on, I found out that Ford has a problem in which the lug nuts swell after driving on them for a long time and every time my car was serviced previously, the service department was wearing away at the edges of the lug nuts so that when I had to change my flat tire I was unable to get them off. I came in to address the flat tire and replace lug nuts and was convinced by Jermaine that I should get Ford's more expensive/upgraded lug nuts that won't swell, which given his explanation I thought was reasonable and I agreed to upgrade the lug nuts when replacing them. However, Jermaine didn't inform me that the upgraded lug nuts didn't come in the correct size for my tire. He then informed me (after two hours of waiting at this point) that the hubcap no longer fits with the new lug nuts. Again, this was all due to the lug nuts being the wrong size which I wasn't informed of. I asked if I could instead just get the standard lug nuts (which swell, but I was planning to most likely sell my car before I needed to replace them again) and was told that Ford no longer makes lug nuts that fit my hubcap. I nearly started crying out of frustration because I had been waiting hours and kept getting conflicting and unhelpful information. Eventually, I paid for the upgraded lug nuts, because I figured if either way my hubcap wasn't going to fit I may as well get the lug nuts that wouldn't swell, and after I drove home I realized they didn't even install the new lug nuts, they just put the old, swollen, worn-down on the edges lug nuts back on my car. Given, I should have double-checked before leaving the service department but ultimately that's not my job. I had to return the next day to get the lug nuts that I paid for put onto my car, which resulted in another nearly two hour wait. Fast forward about two month and I went to a different dealer to get my car serviced while visiting family for the holidays. The other dealer informed me that the new lug nuts (which Jermaine insisted were the best option for my car) were the wrong size the whole time and my hub cap actually would have fit this whole time if I just had the right size lug nuts. When I called Koons Baltimore Ford to request a refund for the upgraded lug nuts that I was pushed to purchase, Jermaine insisted that he told me they were the wrong size, which is a lie, and told me to come in so that he could look at it and help me. I told him I would be there in a half an hour and he confirmed that was fine, but when I arrived he was on his lunch break and the other service consultant informed me that there was nothing they could do to help refund me since the service manager was off that day. I understand that people have to go on break/managers aren't always around but I don't understand why I would be told to come in, when Jermaine knew that he was about to go on break and there was no service manager on duty that day. Eventually I ended up getting a refund for the incorrect sized lug nuts but overall I wasted hours of my time because of Jermaine's mistakes and I certainly would not recommend that anyone waste their time or money here. I was very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend Koons Ford to other persons shopping for a vehicle. The salesman also was involved in my purchase in 2017. Koons Ford to other persons shopping for a vehicle. The salesman also was involved in my purchase in 2017. More
I inquired about a vehicle and now they won't stop spamming/harassing me via email & phone after I said to stop. Very aggressive with no class. Definitely not a WoW. I'd be careful about giving the spamming/harassing me via email & phone after I said to stop. Very aggressive with no class. Definitely not a WoW. I'd be careful about giving them any personal info! I received a letter for a recall. I made an appointment--added a 10,000 mile check up, and dropped the car off the night before. I was told it would be done by 12. I got a call the next morning appointment--added a 10,000 mile check up, and dropped the car off the night before. I was told it would be done by 12. I got a call the next morning that it was done at 1130. I picked it up at 1 --took me 5 minutes. Let me tell you EVERY TIME i bring the car in--Koons handles my service PERFECTLY. It is the main reason I personally have bought over 40 new and used cars and trucks from them. Dennis Koulatsos and his staff are hands down the best. THEY REALLY CARE and their actions back it up. I was ready to drive almost 2 hours to work with this dealership, and thank God I didn't. They tried to push a more expensive truck than the one I originally submitted all of my financials for, tried to dealership, and thank God I didn't. They tried to push a more expensive truck than the one I originally submitted all of my financials for, tried to low ball me on my trade, then made it seem like they bent over backwards to get me a half decent APR, when in fact, they marked it up a point so they could make back end money. I learned that little bit of information when I went to a different dealership and they pulled up my approval with Ford Credit. This is the way Koons treats Veterans. Don't shop here. More
