Buyer beware, dealer uses bait and switch sales tactics. On Saturday morning I visited your website to look at a Nissan Rogue, I requested information which was quickly followed by a phone call from Jus On Saturday morning I visited your website to look at a Nissan Rogue, I requested information which was quickly followed by a phone call from Justin. We spoke of pricing, I told him what we were looking for, he said let me check and I'll call back. He called back a few minutes later and met us in the middle. I asked if it could be held till around 6pm, he said they would. I drove 2 hours Saturday night to purchase a 2015 Nissan Rogue SV from your Falls Church Ford location. While at the dealership we were lied to, talked down to, and the Manager Trevor insinuated we were lying about the deal we were promised. Before arriving, we spoke with 3 representatives, who all told us the vehicle was being held for us and would be ready when we arrived. They went as far as to say they want to make sure the transaction went as quick as possible since we were driving so far so they were having the car detailed and the paperwork prepared. Upon arriving, the sales person Ebony, went and pulled the vehicle around. Noticing the vehicle was the wrong color, I advised Ebony it was the wrong vehicle. To which she replied the one you talked to Justin about was sold an hour ago. The vehicle Ebony brought up to us was the lower model Rogue and had three times the mileage. Ebony apologized to us and promised she would find us something comparable for the same price we were promised. Ebony advised us she could get the same deal on a Rogue with 19k miles. A sales person pulled the car around and we test drove the car. When we came back Ebony advised us the Rogue we test drove was actually a more expensive model and would be $17,000, $2,100 more than the deal we were promised and it actually had 26k miles, not the 19k as discussed. After this we spoke to Trevor, who said we were wrong about the deal we were promised over the phone and that we had the details of the car confused. We showed him the details on the website and he just went back and printed off the notes Justin had left, which were different then what we were told. At this point we left. Ebony came out to our car and apologized and told us Trevor was wrong, she could see the deal we were talking about in the system. She promised she would talk to her manager Abe tomorrow and call us by noon. I told her we were not driving all the way down here again and she assured us that if we purchased, the car could be delivered to us. We waited until 2pm and called, Ebony was not working and we started talking to Henry. Henry said he would try to find something comparable to the vehicle that was sold out from under us when we were on our way to pick it up. Thus far, he has not found anything in the same price range and has not returned our call. Because the Rogue was promised to us originally, we sold our car on the way to the dealership, so we would have money to make a down payment on the vehicle we were promised. We have now spent numerous hours driving, at the dealership and on the phone trying to rectify this situation that we should not be in More
Pretty poor experience. Was going to look at a truck, I immediately got passed off to a 2nd salesman who went to find the truck I wanted to look at, after being gone for 25 minutes and not returning my cal immediately got passed off to a 2nd salesman who went to find the truck I wanted to look at, after being gone for 25 minutes and not returning my calls, I was about to leave when he drove up and reported the truck I wanted to see was out of gas and he had to gas it up....OK...I was on a really tight schedule, and saw enough of the truck that I knew it met my requirements. I advised him I would contact him the next day...Next day I contacted the dealer - same thing - I have a short window to complete my purchase (1 hour) I asked that some things be checked on the vehicle and I would buy it that day. Simple things like passing inspection, passing emissions, making sure everything worked, then I would then come by and finish up any paperwork, get a proper demo and drive away. Turns out the salesman had a bogus email address and could not respond to my emails, then he would only sporadically check his phone for messages, he then told me a manager would be contacting me - not true. Anyway, the experience was pretty unprofessional, I wasted what little time I had on this bad experience....I feel like they must have been hiding something if they wouldn't even do a state inspection and emissions test before I picked up the car.... Completely disappointed, I feel like I need to call them out so that others know to beware of this behavior.....I feel like I would have driven off the lot only to discover problems I didn't see when I was looking at the vehicle and would be stuck with a bunch of expensive repairs and no help from the dealer that sold me the vehicle. I may have stopped a "lemon sale" in progress.....we will never know.....I will contact Ford to ask if this is common practice at their dealerships.......I Will never buy a Koons vehicle and I will be buying a vehicle this week from a reputable dealer. I found three pre-owned vehicles online for a much better deal than the other Ford dealers I was shopping. I’m a Maryland Resident but the great deal was taking me to VA to buy. I contacted internet manager deal than the other Ford dealers I was shopping. I’m a Maryland Resident but the great deal was taking me to VA to buy. I contacted internet manager Pedro online and he called me immediately. Told me all three were in stock and ready for me. I came two days later (Saturday morning). Pedro scheduled me with salesman Dave Mast. Dave was awesome. Very personable, quick, and had the cars ready for us. We picked which we liked best, drove it, told him what our target payment was, and he got it us set up with Joe Messina, the finanacr manager. With no negotiation, Joe beat the other dealers interest rate by 2 whole points, and smoked the other dealerships price on a 100,000 mile warranty and gap Insurance. I was never pressured to buy those products, I wanted them and requested them. In the middle of my deal the general manager stopped by to see how everything was, and he was super helpful. I told him about a concern i had with my credit, and he immediately went to the finance manager and followed up on it, than returned to assure me there were no problems. 2 hours in and out on a Saturday morning with a sweet 2017 explorer. Thanks to every at Koons Ford for helping! Even there accounting department kicks @$$!!! More
I wish I could give a zero-star rating, but a one-star rating will have to suffice. My issues with Koons Ford Falls Church and Ford Motor Company as a corporation in general started the moment I walked in rating will have to suffice. My issues with Koons Ford Falls Church and Ford Motor Company as a corporation in general started the moment I walked into the service department. It is important to note that this was my second visit to Koons Ford Falls Church and throughout both encounters; I encountered the same rude service reps and bad service. The reason for my most recent visit was to have a recall addressed (which had to do with the fuel tank, i.e. PCM and TCM) and to have my clutch replaced that recently had the warranty extended because of multiple and continued consumer complaints of shuddering and lurching. This was the fourth clutch I have had in this vehicle and it there will soon be a fifth. When I walked through the door on a Monday, all the service reps avoided eye contact and I waited there for a little over five minutes before even being addressed. After I was finally addressed, I told the service rep about the issues and was asked in a rude tone if my vehicle "shuddered excessively" because some shuddering is normal for a Ford vehicle (no automatic vehicle should shudder). I responded that yes it was excessive and that this being my fourth clutch, I am very certain it needs replaced. I was then told that there is a two-week long waiting list to even get the transmission looked at and that I would only receive a rental for one day. I told the service rep that I could not and would not leave my car on their lot for two weeks and that I only wanted the recall taken care of and that I would return to pick up my car same day. Again I was met with terseness and he agreed to fix only the recall and return my car same day. Not two hours later, I receive a call from the same rude service rep, but this time, his tone had completely flipped. He was over the top polite and said that he would "jump the line" for me and get both the recall taken care of and the clutch replaced within 3-5 days. This had me suspicious, but stupidly I ignored my suspicions and agreed to let them keep my car for the additional time. Thursday (day 4) rolls around and I had yet to hear anything from ford service, so I rolled through their lot only to find my car had suffered significant body damage. My suspicions about why the service rep changed his tone seemed to be true. My belief is that his complete change of tone and sudden change in timeline were because my car had been damaged the same day I dropped it off and they were going to try to keep it longer in hopes that they could cover it up and fix the damage before I picked it up in 3-5 days. I go in Friday morning (day 5) and ask to speak to the service manager immediately. I explain the entire situation and show him the damage and he claims it's the first they have seen of it. He then proceeds to tell me that they will take care of the recall, the clutch replacement, and the damage and have it back to me in another week. This means that after five days of sitting in their lot, they had yet to address any of the issues my vehicle was having and instead, damaged the vehicle so now it is in worse condition than when I came in. A week then rolls around and I have heard nothing back. I then call to inquire about my vehicle and come to find out, they can't locate it on the lot even though it had been returned to the lot from the body shop the day prior. I finally reach out to the general manager of the dealership and explain my situation and my experience with Koons Ford Falls Church. To his credit, he was very personable and listened to all my concerns but in the end he just said that he will address the issues I brought to his attention and he hopes I will give them another chance. Unfortunately, that won't happen because this dealership has lost my trust and my business and I will never buy a Ford vehicle ever again. Oh and to top it all off, after driving the vehicle for a day, the clutch is lurching and shuddering again and needs to be replaced. More

Extraordinary experience in every level! Russel Walker!! My husband and I purchased 2 new Ford Escape SUV’s from salesperson extraordinaire, Russel Walker at Koons Ford, Falls Church, Virgin Russel Walker!! My husband and I purchased 2 new Ford Escape SUV’s from salesperson extraordinaire, Russel Walker at Koons Ford, Falls Church, Virginia. Our experience exceeded our expectations! Russel made purchasing a vehicle an absolute pleasure. He is personable, positive, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and empathetic. After closing the deal—a fabulous Memorial Day sale—we proceeded to Joe in finance. Traditionally, I truly dread this aspect of the car buying process. However, Joe offered us so many valuable options for the maintenance of our new SUV’s and expert financial advise. He went above and beyond to raise my already great credit score. Speaking of maintenance...the Koons service department is stellar! Agner and Master Mechanic Erick treated me so kindly and with great empathy when informing me my trusty and beloved 2001 Ford Explorer Sport was beyond repair. As a result, my husband and I decided to purchase another new vehicle from Koons. I highly recommend Koons Ford for your next car, SUV or truck purchase. Ford delivers on product and price. Russel Walker in sales will make your purchasing experience stress free, smooth and exciting!! The service department will keep your Ford running beautifully for many, many years. Love, love, love Koons! More
Bad Experience with Pedro and his manger Joe At the time of the purchase Pedro behaved really well with me and he did assure that I will receive my cars floor mats by mail in a couple of days, At the time of the purchase Pedro behaved really well with me and he did assure that I will receive my cars floor mats by mail in a couple of days, as this was part of the purchase and the offer I got with my car. However, after I came back to New Jersey with the car, I kept following up with him through phone call/Text messages and he kept keeping me on hold for a month ! After a months time , he mentioned that they cannot give me the floor mats offer anymore ! I then reached out to his manager Joe , he behaved very rudely with me and spoke in a very arrogant language , and started asking for proofs of mine and Pedros conversation. And then later hung up the phone on me without resolving the matter. More
