The work sheet shows that I declined to have the work done, which is not true, and the explanation I received was that it was the only way the work sheet could be closed out. More

I am 59 years old and have bought several cars in the past including Lexus, Corvette, Toyota and Honda. This experiencing was by far the WORST ever. I was referred there bu Costco auto buying program,The sales Person was nice and polite and his quote was reasonablr.. After the credit check the salesman told us the we qualify for interest rate of 0.00% for 48 months or 0.9% for 60 months or higher for extended duration. But when we went to their finance office he already had Contract printed out which had a "warranty added in it. The monthly payment was about $ 150.00 more than what it was suppose to be, I calculated the monthly payment with the quoted rate from his salesman and i pointed that out. He said that salesman does not know anything and the rates he quoted were not true. He said we qualify for 4% rate but not qualify for the 0.9% contrary to what Salesman showed us in writing. i went back and told the Salesman and mentioned about the rate hike contrary to the quoted rate. The salesman firmly said that he was in fact told that we do qualify for all lower rates. He said I don't know why finance office is doing that and creating confusion. He said he is going to talk to the manager about this disparity of the interest rate. He came back and said I "Probably: misunderstood and the offered rate is actually 1.9%. for 60 months. I went back to Finance officers office who already printed out a contract which had about $1900 dollars extra added to it. I questioned it asked about it. He said that is a "buydown amount", the term I never heard from any dealer in the past. He printed two Contracts : one with a extended Warranty and one without Warranty but monthly payment was not much different. The mysterious "buydown" amount of 1892.11 was still listed there. Basically he left us no choice but to pay for the Warranty if we wanted 0.9% interest rate The monthly payment now was about $879.00 instead of $840.00 meaning extra $39 per month. I started to get headache and wanted it to be over so we signed it thinking at least i was getting some extra Warranty despite the fact that i did not asked for it neither i wanted it. He said Warranty was only $10 extra per month and should have been $600 for 60 months instead of $1892.00 I commented face to face the finance officer about his extremely aggressive, hostile attitude. I told him he is very impolite and added things in the contract without our consent and left us no choice but to buy the Warranty. To conclude this was the worst car buying experience i ever had. The dealership staff we encountered is dishonest, misleading, and impolite. They misquote interest rates and added hidden "buydown"costs and extended warranty costs without disclosing it properly or obtaining consent from the buyer. This dealership wasted my valuable time. We end up spending 2 hours on the second visit instead of 30 min. They intentionally prepared such a contract which left us with no choice other tan to pay $1900 extra for the "warranty" we did not ask for. Moreover they did not honor the rate they quoted and willfully blamed it on miscommunication between their staff. The finance officer had zero respect for us and for his salesman. Lastly he charged us for extended warranty as listen in the buyers contract but gave us no paper or card indicating that warranty. More

Come here for your regular maintenance service I took my car here for its first oil change. I bought my car from another dealership but they were completely booked. I called Koons to check availab I took my car here for its first oil change. I bought my car from another dealership but they were completely booked. I called Koons to check availability and they were nice enough to accommodate me the same afternoon. I went in and I was greeted nicely by someone. Unfortunately, his name is not on the Dealerrater system yet. But he directed me to the service department and I was helped by Tadarryl Smith.Very easy process. Got my info, I was taken to the waiting lounge. and 40mins later he came back and told me the car was done. I think 40mins in a busy dealership like this is reasonable to get you in and out considering the other dealership I called even told me all they have until the following week was "drop off your car" appointments. So for me, this was a big plus. One thing to note, I wanted Ford's "The Works" service done which includes, oil change, tire rotation, multi-point inspection, etc. Ford's website says $39.95 or less but I walked out the door with a total of $46.62. I got charged for $5.05 for "Shop Supplies." My guess is maybe because my car calls for more than 5 quarts of motor oil, thus the extra charge. Not a big deal. Just FYI. Overall, I had a good experience going here at Koons. Nothing extraordinary, no special treatment. I got what I came and paid for and that was it. Professional staff. Shorter than average wait time. And no issues so far. I'll take that any day. I can recommend this dealership if you need routine maintenance done. That's all I can say because that's as much as my experience with them can provide. More

Pleasantly surprised! I've been looking for unusual information about my boss's vehicle (engine number), and documentation that would support that the number is correct. I've been looking for unusual information about my boss's vehicle (engine number), and documentation that would support that the number is correct. On another dealership, a mechanic showed me the sticker with the number on it, but no one was able to give me information supporting that. Before giving up, I decided to go to Koons Falls Church. As I arrived, I saw a lady going back to her car with a smile after a small talk with a service specialist, and I decided to approach that guy, Kevin Lacki. I approached him, and I felt instantaneously that he cared, and he did. After some minutes we didn't solve the issue, but we agreed that we would continue later on. At night I e-mailed him some more information about what I needed. The next day, at nine o'clock, I received a call. We were getting closer, and he kept on showing interest in solving my request. On the afternoon, I received the information that I requested. The most important result out of the interaction was that he solved an unusual issue while never loosing a very positive attitude. I felt that my boss's two Fords matter, even after having been sold. To me, he elevated the whole Ford brand image, and out question the next time I have either to buy or service a Ford, I will go there. More

Walking to the door Mr Russel walker greeted me with a pleasant smile and a very friendly attitude beside his professionalism, he went out of his way to help even its not his department of work ,but shows how much he cares about his customers and the dealership he works at. he introduce me to mr kristan stanisclaus at the service department since service needed in my car, who took his time to explain everything related to my coverage, insurance, towing....in a very friendly, professional way and made my day after a very rough morning, Dealing with dealerships for the past 18 years, this is the first time someone explained to me every detail about my coverage thanks to Kristan. this two gentlemen should be rated 10 stars if I have the option:) by far the best service advisor I have dealt with without forgetting the amazing russel walker sales rep, But so far so fantastic, and will only deal with both of them next time so u better keep them there for a longtime if u want to have a good reputation for your dealership. They wash off all the negative experience I had there before. Thanks to both of you very much.
