The staff is always very professional, knowledgeable, and willing to go out of their way to make your car buying experience great. Initially I contacted Joe Blanco, a sales consultant that I had purchased vehicles from before. He immediately began to assist me in my new vehicle buying endeavor, but soon informed me that he had been promoted to new car sales manager, and like any good leader, would like to have one of his professional sales consultants contact me to set up a good time to conduct the test drive and get started on the paper work. As usual Joe was very professional and made things so very simple, the main reason that I returned to Koons Falls Church Ford. Within minutes I received an e-mail from Vanessa Wick who provided me with a good time to pass by the dealership to conduct a test drive and begin the process. Upon arriving at the dealership my wife and I were greeted by Vanessa. From the beginning she was very accommodating, and had the vehicle that we wanted to view available for an immediate test drive. Vanessa was very professional, and was more than happy to make our car buying experience a happy one. As we sat down to discuss price, she made sure that everything was broken down and fully explained. It didn’t take long to complete the transaction. It was once again a great car buying experience. Wonderful Experience Jeff had everything ready when I got there- all I had to do was sign paperwork, give him my keys and drive away in my 2015 Fusion Hybrid. Gotta Great Deal! Originally had went to the wrong dealer and I wasn't a happy camper. But once I told them what my game plan was. MEDIOCRE BUSINESS PEOPLE - NO FOLLOW UP - LAZY STAFF I went in to the dealership last Saturday as I wanted to trade in my BMW 3-series for a new lease. After spending about 2 hours at the dealership test I went in to the dealership last Saturday as I wanted to trade in my BMW 3-series for a new lease. After spending about 2 hours at the dealership test driving a car and speaking with a salesman Yaz Sarraj, I sat down briefly with Jeff Ottenberg the Sales & Leasing Manager. We briefly discussed lease payments, and I let him know I would be following up with both of them within the next day or two. The next day, Sunday, I e-mailed Yaz with a few specs I was looking at for a different vehicle and let him know I was interested in making this transaction within 7 days. I couldn't hold out any longer on the excitement of the new vehicle so that afternoon I got in my car and drove to the dealership to test drive the Escape Titanium. Yaz was busy with another client so I settled for another salesman who was only 1 month on the job to take me for a test drive. The experience with his knowledge on the car was mediocre, we returned to the dealership, I sat down and was interested in getting some numbers put together. The young salesman kept pulling specs on a color combo I was not interested in. I pulled Yaz aside once he became available to let him know that this kid was not working for me and I really just wanted to get the ball rolling. With a annoyed and lazy response he gave me partial attention, told me he saw my e-mail but insisted I relay (again) everything I wanted in the car instead of printing out my detailed e-mail and doing his due diligence. I was hardly impressed with the level of professionalism, or interest to actually do your job. Finally, I was instructed to fill-out a credit application while my BMW was to be appraised. I did so and was reassured that come Monday (the next day) I would certainly receive a call from Jeff and Yaz letting me know the next steps forward. I waited until 3:00 PM on Monday, left one voicemail for Yaz and one for Jeff and heard nothing back. Finally I called and asked to speak with a manager. I got Kermit. He too, strained to muster an apology for his less than effective staff, and we went over my credit report and options. Granted, I might not have been the ideal client from a finance standpoint, NO RETURN E-MAILS OR PHONE CALLS HAVE YET BEEN MADE AND IT IS THURSDAY!! I have always been a fan of DARCARS but I thought I would give Krystal Koons a shot. And, basically, this dealership should just close their doors and spend a week rehiring and retraining. The customer service and follow-up is non existent, the managers could honestly careless (both Jeff and Kermit), and the staff is a direct reflection on the company. Needless to say, I am certainly purchasing/leasing elsewhere because they did NOT EARN my business or, 'WOW' me by any means. I guess the public is complacent with mediocre business practices. Really depressing. More
