What A Nightmare On June 1st a purchased a 2010 Acura from JD at this dealership and from the beginning I should have left the car on the lot. When I purchased the car it had some minor imperfections such as scratches and some dents that I thought the dealership would take care of. However, to my surprise not only did they not want to take care of them but they wanted me to pay for them. I did but they did not remove any of the dents when they painted the area and a two year old could have done a better job of ensuring that the scratches and dents were no longer noticeable. I spoke to the used car sales manager - Carlos who was terrible. Not only did he not want to come out of his office so that we could discuss the other issues with the car but he blew me off completely and never came out of his office to speak to me. What does that say about this dealership and the team of individuals that are leading them? I took the car and was on my way but needless to say the alternator went up on me after only having the car for a month and two days. I contacted the dealership and spoke to JB. I was told that there was nothing that they could do since the car was out of warranty by two days. TWO DAYS - are you kidding me? They would not even entertain the idea of working with me to get my car fixed. Now I am without a vehicle until the alternator can be fixed and not one person has reached out to me again to help me to find a solution. In addition, to that I had to pay towing fees. What a rip off - :( - I am telling you don't ever go to this dealership because you are sure to find yourself with a lemon and a bad paint job that you have to pay for. In addition, to pay for towing and any other issues that might arise from "their used cars." Sincerely, Living The Nightmare More

So suddenly we were thrown into the car buying market to try to replace a very beloved car. After looking through the websites of the closest Kia dealerships, I found another Kia Soul that I particularly liked, and began an online chat with a sales rep at Koons Kia of Owings Mills. An appointment was made, and the salesman (Gary) was wonderful throughout the whole process. In short order we brought home another Kia Soul that has already more than exceeded my expectations. Definitely the best car buying experience that either my husband or I have ever had! Thank you for putting a smile back on my face! Vanessa (a very pleased Koons Kia customer!) More
terrible staff there terrible personnel there: 1st one just got rude when i said that i am choosing cars yet, and not going to buy right this second. 2nd one was deceivin terrible personnel there: 1st one just got rude when i said that i am choosing cars yet, and not going to buy right this second. 2nd one was deceiving me on the phone and then tried to do it later in person when we were almost signing papers already. though i specifically asked the price and conditions- he just lied straight to my face. and i drove from far to the dealership because of that. and they ran me for loan to several agencies therefore declining my credit score. Very dissatisfied with that place!! do not go there! More

He gave me straight answers to many questions without any canned sales scripts or traditional aggressive tactics. The initial price he quoted me was much more reasonable than other dealerships. At the dealership, I worked with a sales associate Gary Tolentino who is super-friendly and really knowledgeable about the vehicles. You can tell Gary genuinely enjoys learning about the cars and sharing the information. There was no pressure or hurry as I took time to decide which model was right for me. My experience with the finance manger Frank Beatty was also good...he just gave straight information about the extended warranty options and no pressure. More

Everything is explained in great detail. Some car places make you feel like "if you drive any further, you will be on the side of the road". I never feel overwhelmed or misled by anything they have suggested for my car. Keep up the GREAT work KIA Motors! You guys rock!! More

In addition, we were disappointed that they didn't have many Sorrento EX V6 models in stock. We visited the dealer in February thinking we wanted a specific Sorrento that was on their website. After seeing the car in person, we realized that we didn't like the color of that car. They did not have the same model in a different color so we ended up negotiating the other EX V6 in stock that included an extra package with more bells and whistles. We didn't really need all of the fancy extras but needed the V6 AWD and a 3rd row. We couldn't reach an agreed deal after a long back and forth visiting the manager etc etc. The internet manager joined in with the discussion and both men were trying to talk us into dropping down to the lower model, extending our loan or buying used. They were very nice and very persistent, but I think were irritated with us because we just wouldn't budge on the terms. We went in with certain expectations based on internet pricing and just ended up frustrated. Later that day, we found another dealer that came much closer to what we wanted to pay. More
Had to wait initially was not welcomed - first time in - waited about 5-10 min for someone to even tell me the manager would be back - then I waited again - when initially was not welcomed - first time in - waited about 5-10 min for someone to even tell me the manager would be back - then I waited again - when I came back no one would assist me - someone told me to go to the cashier without even knowing what my issue was - no friendly at all (the cashier was very nice once I went over to her) the sales team was anything BUT friendly - I asked it the repair would cost me anything (I just bought the care in Oct 2016) and was told if it was my fault then Kia would not be responsible - I knew I had done nothing (had less than 3000 miles on the car after 5 months of ownership) and really only drive to work twice a week and do errands around the house. They could more friendly, outgoing and in the end I was asked to lie about my experience in the service area and give them a good rating - REALLY More

Richard "Customer Service" Sinclair I put Richard's middle name as customer service I have been dealing with Koons (Ford,Volvo and now Kia) since 2001. I was dealing with Lee but he got promoted and his customer service has rubbed off to his staff Sorry Lee but Richard is starting to pass you. But then again they take notes off their leader.
