They do the recall and a week later while driving out of state the Service Airbag message shows up on my dash. Now, Koons of Tysons are trying to deny their service caused this error. The dealership in TX wants almost $150 to diagnose. They said if the error is not caused by the recall work, they would charge me the $150. I know they are going to fix Koon’s screwup and then blame the problem on something else, and charge me. DO NOT buy or take your car to Koon’s of Tysons for service. They are really nice when you schedule and bring your car in, but rude as xxxx when they don’t do the work right and you want them to fix. I bought the Tahoe used 3 years ago and never got this error until AFTER taking it in for recall work. This problem is 💯 from the recall work Koons did. I guess that’s why GM is aka, Government Motors. I try to buy American (first car was a Jeep), but this is why my next car is going to be a foreign manufacturer. Never had this type of service issues when we had the Kia or Honda. More
Koons’ service is great. They are courteous and knowledgeable and when I show up for a service they are prepared and get me in and out and on my way. I recently purchased a used GMC Acadia from this dealership. The salesmen Louai was great and the team was very professional. As a car buyer on the market, I recently had the worst experience at Koons Tysons. I was in touch with Kevin, who was nice and helpful. After that he mentioned that I needed to connect to Nick Palko for m experience at Koons Tysons. I was in touch with Kevin, who was nice and helpful. After that he mentioned that I needed to connect to Nick Palko for my finances and to close the deal, which I did. I'm very particular about how much I want to put for down payment and finance. He didn't really even give me much info, and started rushing through signatures without telling me what's going on. I said NO to extended warranty, and he still kept messing with my payments until he said it should work for me. I did not want it, he did not take my no for an answer. I was so shocked that I was being forced to sign up for this warranty. He also said too bad you can't change anything this is all sent to the bank now. I called him to clear things up then he told me that I have to wait 60 days to cancel, and my payment won't change. I read that the warranty costs $2300 on top of the loan amount so I'm aware of what's happening. I also noticed they lied on the credit application, increased my income and time with my company. I didn't even get much info on what was happening and then he was just happy to get rid of me and close his deal. He did not want to make me happy with my purchase or care at all.
