Finance manager claims he is 1 of 6 people in the country who can calculate a lease by hand, and every online lease calculator, and even my own manual calculations, are always off by $70-$100/mo. Seriously? who can calculate a lease by hand, and every online lease calculator, and even my own manual calculations, are always off by $70-$100/mo. Seriously? You ever hear the saying if EVERYONE is wrong but you, maybe you are the one who is wrong? AND, he refused to show me his calculations so I could find his mistake. Crazy! More
Everything was done promptly and properly. Always appreciate Koons not trying to sell me service I don’t need. My 2013 Buick Reg is still doing well, thanks to Koons’ maintenance. appreciate Koons not trying to sell me service I don’t need. My 2013 Buick Reg is still doing well, thanks to Koons’ maintenance. We test drove some cars and found one I liked. But as we went in, we stated that we wanted a break down before we signed anything. They talked to us like we were stupid, left us alone for 30 minutes several went in, we stated that we wanted a break down before we signed anything. They talked to us like we were stupid, left us alone for 30 minutes several times (totaled to over an hour and a half), lied about payments, and the finance guy literally laughed in my face when we said we didn’t want GAP. They were awful. Then they called us as we left to “sweeten” the deal and I stated that I felt we were disrespected the whole time so I rather spend my money somewhere else. He tried to explain math to me (because math is hard...) and told me to “calm down” and not use “fowl language.” Jokes of an establishment. More
I’m looking for a ZL1 and the individual I worked with clearly couldn’t be more dispassionate about his work. He’s not engaging, and when he does, his emails are binary. Other dealers are more engaged, w clearly couldn’t be more dispassionate about his work. He’s not engaging, and when he does, his emails are binary. Other dealers are more engaged, willing to do more virtually during COVID, and are priced far better. I’d not seen the reviews on here before is started chatting with them but now I get it. Go elsewhere. More
Wish I could give them less than 1 star. Went to help my sister buy a car because she was out of state and needed me to evaluate it. After she talked to salesman Edwin saying I would be there in a couple sister buy a car because she was out of state and needed me to evaluate it. After she talked to salesman Edwin saying I would be there in a couple of hours, I called Edwin and said I was 15 minutes away. A couple of minutes after I arrived, he had the car parked outside (good job). I test drove the car, told the dealership about a loud rattle which Edwin said the shop would address, and he drove the car away. My sister had been talking to the dealership, including the finance department, during my test drive, following their instructions to fill out identify proof information. She also said she could send approximately half the money and would finance the rest through her bank. Was also told the manager would call her back. She didn't hear anything for a couple of hours, talked to me, and she called the finance department back and was told they wanted to hold the car to sell it to someone who would finance through Koons (Koon's interest rate was a point higher). and then was denied purchasing it because they wanted to wait for someone who would finance it through Koons (their words). Wasted a lot of my time and showed the business practices at Koons are well below what customers should expect. And none of this is a criticism of Edwin because he didn't make the decision, and attitudes/actions like this come from dealership leadership. Tomorrow is Veterans Day. During my Air Force career, we did our best to live by these Service core values: INTEGRITY FIRST. An Airman is a person of integrity, courage and conviction. ... SERVICE BEFORE SELF. An Airman's professional duties take precedence over personal desires. ... EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO. Koons, Veterans Day might be a good time to evaluate your core values, or absence of them. More
If I could give a zero, I would. Dishonest, disrespectful, unworthy of business! 2nd time in a row we make an appointment to look at a car that they say in available only to show up and have th disrespectful, unworthy of business! 2nd time in a row we make an appointment to look at a car that they say in available only to show up and have them say the car has been just been purchased over the phone 1 min prior. This most recent time, we had the keys of the car in our hands ready to test drive and were getting ready to drive off the lot. One would think the in person buyer would get first right of refusal. Complete waste of our time and terrible business practice! More
Dishonest Chevy Dealer that gives a BAD name to Chevrolet!! Took my truck to the service department of Koons Chevy Tysons for several recalls. Asked the service rep: please do the recalls and check the check e Took my truck to the service department of Koons Chevy Tysons for several recalls. Asked the service rep: please do the recalls and check the check engine light plus an oil change. I "specifically" told the service rep "Carlos" before doing anything , please call me and tell me how much does it cost!! I repeated myself several times !!!! he called back 2 days later and told me the recalls have been done but the engine repair cost $6500.00. told him please do NOT do anything and I will pick up my car. When I went to pick up my car they charged me $350.00!! $200.00 of it was for an oil change !!! First of all , I repeatedly told them tell me how much does it cost before touching my car!! and more important WHO in the their right mind would change the oil on a vehicle that has major engine issue!! these people just are bunch of dishonest people that give a BAD name to the brand of Chevrolet!!! Any one going to this dealership should be aware of slimmy slizzy tactics they pull on customers. More

I was assured by my salesperson (Earl Jones) that I was covered under GM's pull ahead plan (to turn my lease in and purchase a new vehicle early). After purchasing my new Buick I received an invoice from GM Financial asking to pay my outstanding balance on my previous lease. When I asked Earl about the situation, he referred me to his new car manager Paul Van Horn, who said he'll "check the file" and get back to me momentarily. Three days later I reached back out (since I never heard from Paul) and he let me know that there wasn't any mention of pull ahead in my file and that I would have to work it out with GM Financial (mind you I had provided him emails where Earl and I specifically talked about the pull ahead program). 1st they charge a $800 "processing fee" witch is a completely made up fake fee to increase the profit they make on a vehicle. You do not have to pay this fee!!!! 2nd they advertise home delivery. completely made up fake fee to increase the profit they make on a vehicle. You do not have to pay this fee!!!! 2nd they advertise home delivery. Salesman told me yes we can do that no problem. Let me see... it will be $400. I agreed. He said the finance manager will call soon the wrap it all up. Instead he calls back and says the delivery is to inconvenient for them because it's electric and the driver will have to stop and charge once in the way here and thire not going to do it. And do they will also not take my trade in as they have no way to get it now. so if I want to keep my payment low put more down. How I get the vehicle is now my problem. And we need to renegotiate the deal. Not only does it say home delivery on the site but also directly on the pics of the car it's self. If you offer hone delivery you should be prepared to delivery anywhere in the lower 48 states unless your ads say only with in X amount of miles. More
This past week I bought a used Jeep Grand Cherokee. Overall everything seemed great and I had a preappeoval. Walked in with it and the car was awesome and the sale overall was ok. I did catch them runn Overall everything seemed great and I had a preappeoval. Walked in with it and the car was awesome and the sale overall was ok. I did catch them running my credit with banks I did not authorize them too. I told them only to run the one I was preapproved with. Their response was they were trying to get me a better deal. Got the car and everything seemed good. Even a warranty for repairs. 2 days later issues appeared. I noticed the tire pressure dropping to 19 psi. Took it in and was told there is a slow leak due to a nail and I would have to buy a new tire to replace it and the warranty doesn’t cover it. Not cool since I just had it for 2 days. They also showed me service records that I was not shown at the sale. Apparently a couple mechanical parts were replaced and this is a vehicle with 30k miles. One report said there was issues with pumping gas. They also told me a tire had been patched and the windshield replaced. I was shocked since they should have told me this with the car fax but that was clean with no repairs according to them. It also turned out that they did not have the tire in stock so I had to come back Saturday when they would. They scheduled me for a 1 pm appointment. Ok all should be good. After 1.5 hours of waiting I asked what’s the status. They said they just found the tire. I am wondering why they scheduled this time and took so long to get a tire. Another issue is they only gave us one key. So I asked for a new one. They claimed the fob is around 200 plus and the metal piece is 70 and a 70 programming fee. This is insane! I have found the key at many places for 50 to 70 and most dealers charge 75 for programming so I expected maybe 150 tops, not 400. I highly advise to think twice about this place. This experience has been really bad and I am never getting my Jeep serviced with them again after this experience. Nor will I be buying another car from them. Other things that I noticed were the following: the lack of masks and social distancing during Covid-19. Many employees were not respecting the rules set in place by wearing a mask or maintaining 6 feet distance. The only one who did that well was the main manager I worked with for sales. More
