Impressed with the sales staff I had been looking for used Volvo XC 90 on the web for some time, but all were priced way over KBB or Edmonds dealer pricing. Had called other dealers, but all were firm on their price. Finally found one at Koons that was priced below KBB & Edmonds dealer pricing...problem was I live 4 1/2 hours away. Emailed dealer and received a call from Toney Jeter. I had several questions and a few of the pics on the website were not clear. Toney took additional pics and sent those to me.....finally convinced this was worth the drive we took off. I had never been to a dealership this busy before, but everyone was obviously very well trained, and you could tell Toney loved his job and would go the extra mile to make sure you were going to have a good experience. There were few cosmetic issues we had concerns about, including a small tear in a leather door panel. Toney had their leather guys fix that, did a little touch up paint on one nick, and took care of some other minor issues himself. All looked great when they were fixed. When accounting was backed up checking us out, he ordered dinner delivered to the dealership for my family. I don't buy cars that often, but would not hesitate to drive 9 hours round trip again if Koons had what I was looking for at the right price. I now understand why they have all " # 1 Toyota dealership Mid Atlantic Region" banners hanging in the showroom. They've earned them with great pricing and customer service. More

Pete Onderchain "Mr Pete" as he is known in my household is simply the bomb. I bought my first Toyota in 2009. It was a used 2006 4Runner and I met Pete when I took the car to Tysons Toyota for service. He made sure I was completely satisfied. I was so satisfied I asked him to hook me up with a saleman and I bought my second Toyota, this time a new 2010 Rav4. From there I bought another, a used 2009 Toyota Corolla. The main reason I now have three Toyota's is Mr Pete. He personally treats us exrtremely well every time we come in for service and makes sure his employees do the same. I recommend to anyone with a Toyota or Lexus to bring it to Tysons Toyota and ask for Mr Pete. You won't be disappointed. More

Every other email we received after logging our credentials came in the form of a canned response. We are still waiting for follow ups from dealerships where we test drove cars days ago. Kader was extremely responsive to our needs and asked that we make an appointment with him. The dealership was hopping busy and it is easy to see why. They make the shopping experience feel like a trip to Disney. They arranged to ship our desired car in from a dealer in MD and it arrived three hours later. The administrative staff were as efficient and pleasant as Kader. I heartily endorse Kader and his team for making a painful process great...and we love our new car! More

Above and Beyond Last week I had the pleasure of taking my car to Koon’s Toyota due to a situation with one of my tires, after working a 12hr night shift. (I was not a happy camper) I was exhausted but the job had to be done. (After Darcar’s of Silver Spring decided to rip me off for a service that was free of charge. Darcar’s kept me at their dealership for over 4hrs just to tell me that I had to spend hundreds of dollars for a service that was not needed. (Shame on you Darcar’s) My husband told me to take my car to where we are always satisfied. So, after a very long night I did just that. I was greeted by Chris Toth. Who I felt had promised me the world at the time. I explained to Chris my frustration and I was kind of nasty about it....but he kept calm and explained to me that, he would do whatever he could to correct the situation. He controlled the situation and explained that he would have me out in an hour. He not only delivered on his promise but had me out in 45 minutes and continued to apologize for keeping me so long. My car is doing great and I know for sure my baby will ONLY be seen by KOONS Toyota from now on. Chris is AWESOME and extremely professional. He is very honest and has such a great demeanor. He explained to me the next service that was needed. Chris did not pressure me to make an appointment nor have the work done the same day. I can honestly give him an ABOVE & BEYOND rating!!
