If I were to describe the sales service we received, I would say it was slow but overall I was happy. However, when a new van blows a tire in the first month or two for no explained reason and Koon's and would say it was slow but overall I was happy. However, when a new van blows a tire in the first month or two for no explained reason and Koon's and Toyota's response is that they didn't sell us the tire, they only sold us the car and it was essentially tough luck for us, you can bet that the $300 tire fix cost them a whole lot more than that when it comes to future purchases. So, my suggestion to everyone out there is that if you want a dealer who stands behind their product, stay far away from Koons Tysons Toyota. More
On March 27, 2013 we drove from Charlottesville Va to Koons to purchase a new Rav4. We had worked with Davaa "George" over the phone on the Rav4 that we found on line(excellent price) George was very fri Koons to purchase a new Rav4. We had worked with Davaa "George" over the phone on the Rav4 that we found on line(excellent price) George was very friendly & knowledgeable about the product. We were able to work out all the details over the phone which made the purchase very easy when we got there. When we arrived on the lot George immediately took us to the vehicle demonstrated and explained everything about the car to us. He was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the car (far different than most of the other sales people we talked to). He was very whitty and made us feel comfortable right away. In no way did we feel pressured to purchase options that we did not want. We would definately return to Koons to purchase another car from George. Thank you for a wonderful experience. More
I had seen a CPO Camry online at this dealership that I was interested in as it had the specific options. As I know Toyota has a solid reliability history, I thought I would take a look at the vehicle and was interested in as it had the specific options. As I know Toyota has a solid reliability history, I thought I would take a look at the vehicle and hopefully purchase that evening. Upon arrival, surprisingly I wasn't hounded by anyone and walked into the dealership where I was greeted by one gentleman, who didn't share his name. He stated nobody was around working in used cars so he would help me instead. I told him what car I was interested in and he attempted to retrieve the key for the vehicle after I told him what the stock number was. Upon startup, he pulled the car out and put it in "P" so I could go for a test drive. Now keep in mind, this is supposed to be a "CPO" Toyota, meaning 161 point inspection, etc. Prior to even starting the car up, it was evident that the seal around the front headlight needed to be replaced as there was a significant amount of moisture buildup. To make things even better, when I sat in the car, the music playing, through one of the blown speakers, needed to be turned down. Well, too make it even more adventurous, the radio was not even functional as the volume could not be turned down, the unit couldn't even be turned off and the nav unit was inoperable. How is this supposed to pass as a certified vehicle? I politely thanked the gentleman for his time and walked back into the dealership where I asked to speak to a Used Car Manager. I was told by three individuals at the "new" side that nobody was available and if I wanted to speak to someone, I would need to wait for someone to return at the "other" end of the pit, as I call it. Finally, a gentleman came out and asked if I had been helped, which I replied, "no". I asked him what the process is for a car to become certified. He began to explain all of the inspections, etc and I then asked, does a manager physically and visually inspect each certified car and sign off on it prior to it being sold? He stated that while they do inspect it, they don't physically drive the car. I explained to him the concerns I had with the vehicle and without hesitation, he asked me what car it was. I thought it was interesting though how when I mentioned to the sales rep that helped me out about the radio and headlight, he just put the car back in its spot. PUT THE CAR IN THE SHOP!!!! The Used Car Manager apologized for the mishap and I went on my way. Needless to say I will not be purchasing a car from Koons, or any of their subsidiaries. As Krystal Koons says, "We're gonna WOW ya"! Well, I was definitely "WOW'ed" during my visit of the lack of quality cars they had on their lot. Good luck Koons! More
This dealership has a serious customer service problem and unethical business practices. First, it took 5 calls to the dealership to get someone to answer the phone. My voice mail message were not retur and unethical business practices. First, it took 5 calls to the dealership to get someone to answer the phone. My voice mail message were not returned, and pages were not answered. For a dealership of that size, with over 50 people working in sales, it's incomprehensible to me that no one ever answers the phone. They don't return voice mails or emails. They must have more business than they can handle, but with such poor customer service and unethical sales practices, I can't imagine why. On my 6th call, Alejandro picked up the phone because his manager, Juan (whom I had requested to speak with for the 6th time), was not answering his page. Please note that this complaint is NOT directed at Alejandro. He was the ONLY person at Koons Tyson Toyota to demonstrate any level of customer service at all. What transpired next was NOT Alejandro's fault in any way, and he was a victim himself. On Friday 3/22, I negotiated a deal on a new 2012 RAV on behalf of my client (I own a consulting firm that helps women buy cars). Alejandro sent me a signed purchase order, and I sent him the required information and documentation for the DMV paperwork. First thing Saturday morning (3/23), I gave hiim a credit car number for a $1,000 deposit on the vehicle. He confirmed that he had all the information and documentation he needed, marked the car as SOLD, and we scheduled the delivery for Monday (3/25) at noon. I called first thing Monday morning to confirm the delivery, and he told me that another sales person / manager had removed the SOLD sign from the car Saturday night and sold it to another customer. Even though I had placed a $1,000 deposit on the car and had a signed purchase order! Alejandro was very upset as well, as this cost him a sale that he had earned. I left a scathing voice mail message for the general manger, which was never returned. My business partner and I have been in the car business for a combined 40 years, and we have NEVER seen this happen. They not only screwed me and my client out of a car that we had a deposit on, but they screwed one of their own people out of a sale. I will never do business with this dealership again. More
I wanted to buy new RAV 4 and have visited several dealerships. I ended up my quest of buying new car at Koons Tysons Toyota, thanks to salesman George Dava Enhtur. He is very knowledgeable about all dealerships. I ended up my quest of buying new car at Koons Tysons Toyota, thanks to salesman George Dava Enhtur. He is very knowledgeable about all Toyota vehicles, their technologies. He has a great selling skill, without pushing me ( there are many pushy salesmen), he just convinced me to buy my 2013 brand new RAV 4 right then and there. Now I'll be recommending this dealership and salesperson to any body who's thinking about having a new vehicle. More

I went to Koons Tyson Toyota to see a used car with an internet price on a Tuesday afternoon. I agreed to have my husband come on Friday afternoon to see the car and buy it. I had several conversations internet price on a Tuesday afternoon. I agreed to have my husband come on Friday afternoon to see the car and buy it. I had several conversations with the salesperson to verify that I would come on Friday. When my husband was ready to buy the car he was told that it was now $800 more than the agreed internet price from Tuesday and that I was confused with another car that I looked at. They would not honor the internet price and I had to fax my print out of the internet page because they didn't believe me. They said the price changed because of the "market" and made us feel like idiots. George was rude and would not honor the previous price as agreed. I would not recommend Koons Tysons Toyota to anyone!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! More
I have recently purchased a car at Koons Tyson's Toyota and I am glad to share how well I was treated at that Toyota's dealer. AJ was a greatful, honest thoughtful sales professional with a great emphasis and I am glad to share how well I was treated at that Toyota's dealer. AJ was a greatful, honest thoughtful sales professional with a great emphasis on full customer satisfaction. He changed my perception of the typical "salesman" and look forward to send him any referrals I may know of. I wish you all the success just because you really know what you do. Thank you, AJ, and thank the financial officer who took care of all the paperwork. You did a wonderful job! Good luck! M. Maria Chaves M. - Arlington/VA More

I know what my credit Unfortunately, a bad experience all around. Riad would not even talk to me about pricing with a completed credit application. I know what my credit rating is (705), but I do not need or want a credit enquiry until it is time to pull the trigger and purchase. So I hung up. I rang back and spoke to Alejandro who checked on a lease deal based on my credit rating of 705 and a military discount. He involved a gentleman in finance who told me a) he had no idea what a Scion pure lease was or had heard of the $199 plus fees lease that Scion are offering and b) insisted that the military discount was $500 (that is Toyota's deal - Scion is indeed $1000). I finally got a fax with a lease deal attached which reflected the proper discounts. No word of apology or follow up phone call. Even though the car advertised online that I discussed with Alejandro was discounted $1000, the lease price reflected full MSRP. Exasperation set in - I guess I could have educated them a little more, but I went to another deal who laid it all out there in black and white. I may have got a slightly better deal by dealing with Koons, as their original price was $500 cheaper, but it was just not worth trying to swim upstream any further. More
