We were looking for a new 4Runner with specific options, and I researched prices/options within the MD/VA area, until I contacted the Internet sales representative (Don Evans), backed up by his manager (Mit and I researched prices/options within the MD/VA area, until I contacted the Internet sales representative (Don Evans), backed up by his manager (Mithkal Asfour); they met the best model price I could find. We keep our vehicles for 10+ years, regularly maintaining them, so it was important that their service department was reputable, capable, and convenient (to eastern Loudoun county). I knew what I wanted, and Don Evans secured an incoming vehicle for me before arrival to port. He kept up ongoing email contact for 2-3 weeks until we could buy; he discussed warranty and maintenance options only when I asked. He was always friendly and informative, with no pressure. Our financial representative was Alex Hessami, and he explained various options for extended maintenance and warranty, which were important considering that we keep our vehicles for 10+ years with moderately high mileage. He answered all questions, and never pressured us. We got a very good loan where there was no special financing (partly luck, partly due to excellent credit). My advice to any buyer is be careful of your credit, to do all your homework first, know what you want and need, go to a major dealer after comparing ... and everything will be much smoother. That said, ... I was very happy to deal with Don Evans. He gave me what I expected. More
I would like to say that Don Evans is by far the best sales person I have ever dealt with. I had been looking for a new Toyota Takoma for 2 weeks and had visited several dealerships in Northern Va. Koons Tyson Toyota (Don Evans) was absolutely the best. From the time you walked in the door the enter staff of the dealership was great. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and especially Don Evans. He is definately an asset to Toyota. He is personable, and takes the time to answer to answer all your questions and explain all the features of your new vehicle. More
We purchased a used vehicle here the end of July. We had secured financing from our credit union and told the salesman this from the start. We advised we were in no way interested in discussing their finan secured financing from our credit union and told the salesman this from the start. We advised we were in no way interested in discussing their financing and there would be no need to run our credit. Our salesman said he agreed and talked to the manager and our credit would not be run. After waiting 45 minutes to finalize the deal and do the payment we started questioning why it was taking so long. One employee got in our faces and advised it was going to take at least 15 minutes. He was the most rude person I have ever dealt with at a dealer. I went out to my personal vehicle to wait and found one of their employees LEANING ON MY CAR. (HOW RUDE!) When the finance guy finally took care of our paperwork he gave us copies of our credit report/score. I questioned why this was done and he told me "it's the law, we have to run your credit since Sept. 11". LIE. I have bought 5 vehicles since 2001 and no other dealer has pulled this. When he kept up this lie I called the salesman into the office and he told us again, in front of the finance guy, that he had talked to the manager and he agreed there was no reason to run our credit and it shouldn't have been done. I have been contacted by a "customer relations" employee who advised me I misunderstood what the finance guy said about it being the law. My husband and I are both college educated people who are not hard of hearing so I hardly think we are so stupid that we could have "misunderstood" what we were told. The cust. relations woman told me that our salesman had no right to tell us that our reports wouldn't be pulled and that he did not talk to a manager. I called him immediately after hanging up from her and he told me he did indeed talk to the manager. So, they are passing the buck and being extremely misleading. BEWARE! If you choose to shop here DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING OR FILL OUT ANYTHING HAVING TO DO WITH CREDIT. Even when they tell you they will not run your credit, they will. More

I'm from North Carolina and I had been searching for a very specific style and color Toyota Tacoma for several weeks. I couldn't find what I was looking for at the Toyota dealerships near me in North Car very specific style and color Toyota Tacoma for several weeks. I couldn't find what I was looking for at the Toyota dealerships near me in North Carolina, so I broadened my search horizon and found exactly what I was looking for at several dealerships in the DC/Northern Virginia/Baltimore area. I put in several internet inquiries to different dealerships and was contacted by Don. After shopping around and test driving several Tacomas, I received several price quotes. Don and Josh were able to match the lowest price quotes I received and get me in the perfect vehicle at the right price with no shady sales tactics involved. The entire sales process was easy and smooth. I was able to get in and out of the dealership with my brand new truck in about an hour. I would definitely recommend these guys. They made the trip up from North Carolina worth my while. I should also note that I attempted to purchase the same truck at Russel Toyota in Baltimore earlier that day, but left after they tried to nickel and dime me in the business office by adding several hundred dollars in hidden fees to the final price. Their final "out the door" price ended up being over 300 dollars more than what I was originally quoted by the salesman. Do not waste your time at Russel Toyota. Take your business to Koons Tysons Toyota!!! More
It was my first time buying a car from a dealer and i was very cautious. I met Sam and he just made it so easy an simple for me. Its a great car and Sam assured me that i can always go back to him if there are any issues. This buying experience--of a 2010 Toyota Prius V--was a surprisingly positive one. (I intended to purchase a new one, but the local dealers didn't have any inventory--in the wake of the earthquake in Japa surprisingly positive one. Sam knows the Toyota vehicles from top to bottom, demonstrating the cars' features extremely well. I soon concluded that the pre-owned vehicle with low mileage would suit me well. (I previously visited another local Toyota dealer whose salesman had absolutely no familiarity with the cars he was trying to sell.) I believe that I paid a fair price at Koons. The demeanor and helpful attitude of the finance and management personnel added to this positive experience. I would highly recommended purchasing at this dealership and doing business with Sam Jawaid. He's also provided great follow-up for minor issues that needed resolving. More
Upon entering the parking lot, Sam immediately asked if he would be able to help me (I appeared to be wandering the lot alone:-) I showed him the vehicle I was interested in purchasing and without hesitat he would be able to help me (I appeared to be wandering the lot alone:-) I showed him the vehicle I was interested in purchasing and without hesitation, he went to look the vehicle up and to verify where it was located. When he verified it wasn't at their lot, he offered to take me to the other lot to test drive the vehicle. Though the other lot (Koons GM) proved to not be as helpful with locating the vehicle as Koons Toyota was, it was eventually found and we did a test drive. Sam tried to locate the positives in the vehicle but in the end, he could tell it would not have been a happy purchase for me. He then offered to show some other cars that would be of interest to me based on our coversations. With Suhail's assistance and his very prompt and caring demeanor, we settled on a vehicle that fit expectations I didn't even realize I had. The selection process, test drive, financing, and overall ability of the staff to realize what a customer needs in a vehicle made this a wonderful experience. I myself would have liked to have done a bit more research on the vehicle before making the purchase, however Sam stated over and over again that he would continue to answer all questions related to the vehicle purchase even after the sale was finalized. I appreciated the attention that was taken to make sure I was happy with my purchase before, during, and after the sale was finalized. More
