To start with, I conducted an exhaustive search (via internet/email) of 20+ car buyer service dealers from Baltimore to Richmond for an "in-stock" Silver/Ash Toyota V6 FWD Highlander Limited w/Navigatio internet/email) of 20+ car buyer service dealers from Baltimore to Richmond for an "in-stock" Silver/Ash Toyota V6 FWD Highlander Limited w/Navigation, at the "best and lowest price." After spending more than a week dealing with car buyer service dealers, and getting great prices, my wife and I decided to check local Toyota dealerships (including Koons Toyota Tysons Corner, VA) before heading to Richmond, VA (100 miles from home) to pick-up the Toyota (almost) that we wanted. Within minutes of starting to look over the many Highlander models lined-up in the large Koons Toyota front lot, the absolute greatest "Car Salesman" I've ever encounted (Phillip Clayman) approached us and immediately gained our trust with his positive, kind, and respectful attitude and demeaner. He quickly opened up numerous models for our inspection to compare, and provided a chance to conduct a test drive. Upon sitting down with Phillip in the showroom, he engaged me about the specific model we were looking for and quickly located that exact model "in available stock." Next, we turned to price, and to my overwhelming surprise (after consulting his manager (Andrew)) Phillip agreed to "meet" our "lowest car buyer service price." Done deal -- then, after agreeing to add the Platinum Extended Service Warranty for 8 Years/100,000 miles (because of all the computers and electronics in the Highlander Limited), via another great and respectful Koons representative (Alex Eslamipour), we drove the Silver/Ash Toyota V6 FWD Highlander Limited w/Navigation+ home the same day. In the past, our car buying experiences were always the worlds worst. But, this time around, Phillip, Andrew, Alex, and Tony at Koons Toyota Tysons Corner happily proved me wrong. Shahzad "Sam" Jawaid is one of the best, most helpful, most knowledgable auto salesmen I've ever encountered. He found us a car that had just exactly the features we were looking for. Then, after we purchased the car he helped us to quickly and easily set up some of the car's features such as BlueTooth. My financing was handled by Miguel Sarria, and Miguel did a very good job of getting us through all the paperwork quickly, easily, and seamlessly. Ricky Jacobs, the Sales Manager who oversaw our transaction, was also very helpful and friendly from beginning to end, again without being in the least bit "pushy." All in all, it was a pleasure doing business with this group. As strange as it may sound, we almost feel like "family" now with the members of the Koons sales team we worked with. Sam gave us his cell phone number and encouraged us to call him with any after-purchase questions we have about the car we bought, and I believe he really meant it sincerely. Moreover, I'm confident Sam would be able to answer our questions quickly and correctly. By the way, we were sufficiently pleased with the Koons sales team that before we completed this rating we phoned the dealership to be sure that we had the names all spelled correctly.
