Incompetent, disorganized and dishonest. The latest in a series of screw-ups -- they charged me to register the vehicle they sold me in Vermont, where I live. Then they forgot to register it. That was two m series of screw-ups -- they charged me to register the vehicle they sold me in Vermont, where I live. Then they forgot to register it. That was two months ago. Now they tell me they won't refund the money paid, including sales taxes, unless I provide impossible to get documentation. When I bought the car, I offered full price. They then added $2400 in bogus fees. When I pointed out that that was dishonest and probably illegal, they reduce the fees to $900. Then they lost one of the two keys that came with the car. To get a replacement, they told me I had to drive 4 hours. I ended up making a deal with the dealer's locksmith to get two extra pairs and pay for one of them. Everything that should be simple is difficult. Nothing is what it seems to be with these people. More

Purchased a 2013 Ford F150. Less than 3000 of driving truck heat isn't working, noises coming from the breaks. To find out the breaks were installed backwards and damaged the rotars severely. Paid for ex truck heat isn't working, noises coming from the breaks. To find out the breaks were installed backwards and damaged the rotars severely. Paid for extended warranty assured the car was cover from top to bottom. 4500 in additional coverage. $2200. Not one thing coverage by the warranty or service contracts purchased. Today is 12/16/21. Been waiting for someone from financing to return my call since Monday. More
20% OVER MSRP ON A RAV4!!! Unbelievable greed and gouging during the pandemic! In September 2021 I sat down to purchase a RAV4 Hybrid XLE at $34,000 MSRP, and the starting sales price on the paper was a jaw- during the pandemic! In September 2021 I sat down to purchase a RAV4 Hybrid XLE at $34,000 MSRP, and the starting sales price on the paper was a jaw-dropping $40,500, $6,500 or nearly 20% over! When I questioned that they mumbled about the chip shortage - but that's no excuse to gouge your customers (we are three-peat customers, since 2002). Of course I walked out, I will try other dealerships and I hope they are NOT like that, otherwise bye bye Toyota. (In hindsight, I should have read the Google reviews, several reviewers have mentioned the price gouging at Koons.) After that I walked the lot and it seems all new cars have a special sticker on them with ~25% surcharge (mine had $44,000 with MSRP $34,000) which I'm guessing is the "Koons Memorial 25% Surcharge MSRP?" Shame on you people to profit off of the pandemic supply disruptions like that. More
Bought a 4Runner Limited from Koons Tysons in 2016 based on dealership/service ratings. Great car, but noted declining levels of service reliability/consistency over time as indicated by dealership ratings on dealership/service ratings. Great car, but noted declining levels of service reliability/consistency over time as indicated by dealership ratings. Went to purchase a 2022 4Runner Limited in current market environment...worst buying experience/customer focus in my 40 years of buying vehicles. Vehicle I was interested in was in "warehouse" on the first day we visited; went back the next day but called first to confirm vehicle was still available and was told "Yes, come on in" by the salesman after checking with Sales Mgr. When we arrived within the hour, we were told vehicle was sold the previous day...evidently 3 differing inventory databases exist between the salesman, sales manager and "Inventory Manager" with no apparent data syncing. Salesman had minimal knowledge of vehicle features and an "assistant" walked us through the few vehicle changes since 2016. With sales driven by above-MSRP revenue stream, Koons Tysons has ZERO customer focus. Purchased a vehicle from another dealership and the sales/customer service was OUTSTANDING. Totally DONE with this dealership! More
