bad all the way around worst service. I bought a 2013 f150 and found out it had a bad wheel that had been welded back together. was told they would replace it should only ta worst service. Service is TERRIBLE We had a major truck issue that was just repaired a week prior from our local FORD dealer. On our way to Myrtle Beach for vacation we were stranded on 95South. We drifted into Cowles Ford with a Ford, F350 dually, pulling a 40 foot toy hauler fifth wheel at 11:30am on Friday July 8th. Seeing the caravan of 5 RV's coming into the parking lot, a mechanic came out immediately to assess our situation. He knew exactly what was wrong, 2 screws sheered off the part that was just replaced from another Dealer. We then went it to speak to James MDowell about a repair. Wow!! He said he couldn't get to us until Saturday but maybe not even until Monday. WHAT!! I do think this was an emergency situation and James gave us no help whatsoever. LUCKILY Matt Norris stepped up and called other Ford dealers in the area. None could help us. He called rental truck places with no luck. Finally he found someone that could fix our truck that day but we had to get it 1 1/2 hours south. Thankfully they did fix the truck in 2 hours, $400 and we were on our way by 6:30pm. We are so grateful for Matt going that extra mile for us. If it wasn't for us pulling a 14000lb RV and 2 dogs we would have left the truck and rented something. We really felt let down by Ford. Not a happy Ford Truck owner. More
Service department 9000 miles on my Ford Escape and the transmission had issues. I paid for the extended service contract, the dealership said at the time "if your car i 9000 miles on my Ford Escape and the transmission had issues. I paid for the extended service contract, the dealership said at the time "if your car is in the repair center we will give you a loaner" weeeeell now comes the time to cash in on that service contract, Cowles has no loaner cars! They don't do loaners! You can rent a car and pay $250 security deposit or go pound sand. The service (I use that term loosely) have no idea how to communicate or repair. Infants with tools. Do yourself a favor, go to another dealer or another make. More

I purchased a $50K ford truck a few years ago and because they did not have access to a fuel supplier, I left the dealership with the tank near empty. I have brought cars in for numerous repairs only to have to bring them back to have the repairs redone. The latest was a tire rotation where the service employee counter balanced the tires, basically achieving nothing. So go to this dealership only if you are retired and have all the time in the world to bring your vehicle back again and again. More
My daughter and I came into the dealership on Thursday morning with the desire to buy a car. the salesman Sean greeted us outside the store and said we will make this deal happen. The guy is upbeat unflappable a true pfofessional and works with his customers nothing shady about the guy.We spent quite a bit of time at te place because of dings and patchy credit but the deal got done and more importantly my daughter got the car. I tried to order a part over the phone. I was trying to describe it to him but had little luck in doing so in which I take full responsibility. The time between hanging up with him, taking the picture and sending it to him (no exaggeration) was two minutes. I called him as soon as I hit the send button. I called the same number that I dialed the first time and now all of a sudden the parts store was closed for the weekend. He gave me no indication that he was leaving for the day. More
Have two Mustangs that I take to Cowles regularly for service (neither of which were originally purchased at Cowles). Matt and Josie are a pleasure to deal with. They always accommodate me with early mor service (neither of which were originally purchased at Cowles). Matt and Josie are a pleasure to deal with. They always accommodate me with early morning appointments and they get the job done quickly while I wait. Cowles is also one of the few dealers that understands and can and will work with aftermarket add-ons (i.e., superchargers, suspension mods, exhaust mods, engine bolt-ons, etc.). No lectures on voiding your warranty, which is nice. I have dealt with many different dealers in the Northern VA area over the years and I've had my fair share of bad experiences. Cowles, at least in my opinion, is on the good side. More
Terrible customer relations exhibited by the Service Manager. Extremely unfriendly and rude. Does not return phone calls and is disrespectful in his conversation with customers. I strongly recommend going elsewhere for your service. More
