I was in desperate need of a vehicle and had no credit. I called Craig and he quickly got to work to see what he could do for me. I was beyond ecstatic when he called and said he had a few options for me. I called Craig and he quickly got to work to see what he could do for me. I was beyond ecstatic when he called and said he had a few options for me. I went in the next day and the entire staff was friendly and eager to help in any way they could. Not to mention Craig picked me up at my home in the snow and drove me to the dealership to pick up my new car. I left with a fantastic 2004 Saturn Ion, which, sadly I didn't have for a full year when I was involved in an accident. So, once again I turned to Craig and the Kunes family! And once again, they were a huge help. Within a few days I drove away in my 2010 Chevy Cobalt. This is above and beyond the friendliest and most helpful group of people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I would (and have) told my friends and family that when they are in the market for a new vehicle, this is the team they should go with! I recently went to Kunes Country in Delavan for a scheduled oil change. While my 2007 Impala was being serviced, I had a conversation with Craig in the showroom, talking car talk. He asked me if I scheduled oil change. While my 2007 Impala was being serviced, I had a conversation with Craig in the showroom, talking car talk. He asked me if I was signed up on their Preferred Owner Program and I wasn't sure, so Craig went to the service dept. and I was. In fact because I bought 4 new tires a while back, my oil change was absolutely FREE. Tim in the service dept. did the paperwork and I was on my way. Now that's what I call Customer Service. We were in need of a 12-passenger van, which is a rarity to say the least. Through cars.com we discovered 3 vans at 3 different dealerships, one of which was Kunes Country. We decided to make the 55 mil to say the least. Through cars.com we discovered 3 vans at 3 different dealerships, one of which was Kunes Country. We decided to make the 55 miles (one way) trip to Kunes Chevrolet & Cadillac after a preliminary talk over the phone with Brian Krakofsky. Though long, the trip was worth it. We enjoyed both the overall ambiance of the dealership as well as the no-pressure sales pitch which is so uncharacteristic of dealerships. Brian's efforts to answer all our concerns, his honesty, and his efforts to secure the price we felt comfortable with, sealed our decision to buy their van and stop looking any further. The finance person was just as helpful, and we were impressed that everyone stayed past the closing time just because we were still there. A true family spirit, indeed! There is no question in our mind that we will return to Kunes next time we need a vehicle as well as refer them to our friends also. Keep up the good work! More
