I normally do not write negative reviews about dealerships or businesses, but in this case, I feel compelled to share my experience. Like many people, I have gone through some difficult life circ dealerships or businesses, but in this case, I feel compelled to share my experience. Like many people, I have gone through some difficult life circumstances, including a divorce and an active Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Over time, I received multiple advertisements from Kunes claiming they specialize in helping customers with previous or ongoing bankruptcies obtain vehicle financing. Based on those advertisements, I decided to contact them and schedule a visit. Before going to the dealership, I clearly explained my expectations and financial situation. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. The vehicle they presented was a used Nissan priced at approximately $24,000. They informed me that I would need to put down $8,000 and make monthly payments of around $1,200. I found those terms completely unrealistic and far outside what I had discussed beforehand. I was also told that I only had a couple of vehicle options available to me, despite the dealership having many vehicles on the lot. The entire experience felt like a waste of time, especially considering the dealership markets itself as a specialist for individuals dealing with bankruptcy. Afterward, I contacted my bankruptcy attorney, who suggested that I explore other dealerships in the greater Milwaukee area. I followed that advice and reached out to CarMax in Waukesha. The difference was night and day. Their team quickly located a vehicle within their extensive inventory and arranged to have it shipped from Indiana to Wisconsin. I ultimately purchased a fully loaded 2024 Hyundai Tucson that I absolutely love. The vehicle was much newer and in excellent condition. Even better, I only needed to put down $551, and my monthly payment is approximately $651. While the interest rate is higher than I would prefer, the financing terms were far more reasonable than what I was offered elsewhere. What bothered me most about my experience with Kunes was not just the proposed financing terms, but how I felt treated throughout the process. I often felt like a second-class customer because of my bankruptcy status. Calls were not returned promptly, and I was told that customers with stronger credit profiles required more immediate attention. Whether intended or not, it left me feeling dismissed and undervalued. My advice to anyone in a similar financial situation is to shop around and explore every available option before signing anything. My personal experience with Kunes was frustrating, time-consuming, and disappointing. In contrast, CarMax provided a professional, respectful, and efficient buying experience that resulted in a vehicle and payment plan that worked for my situation. Everyone's experience may differ, but based on my own experience, I would not recommend Kunes to individuals dealing with bankruptcy or credit challenges. More

We drove 170 miles to look at a used truck that they said was in excellent condition. Truck had a leaf spring bolt that was broke. This vehicle should not have even been on the lot. Don’t buy here. Sell Canadian vehicles with no warranty and they don’t explain that to you at all. Had truck 6 months and A/C didn’t not work first time I tried it.
