Worst car buying experience ever! First we found the perfect van on the website so we called the delavan dealer and they said to come take a look at it but when we got there they said First we found the perfect van on the website so we called the delavan dealer and they said to come take a look at it but when we got there they said it was at the dealership in Illinois but they would have it delivered to them in the morning and we signed a paper putting it on hold for us... but in the morning instead we got a text message saying that it was sold the night before and they didn't have anything comparable to what we were promised so we went to look at the dealer in elkhorn and that's when stuff got really bad... they still couldn't find anything comparable to what we were promised (although I'm pretty sure what we were promised was just bait to lour people in there because one person said it was sold the night before, another said it was sold 3 days prior and another said it was sold a week prior) but were willing to settle for something less then perfect because it was going to be a work vehicle and I'm a drywall finisher so alot of days i come home very dusty from work. The guy wasn't the easiest to work with at first but once we were approved (and we were already approved at the previous dealer so I don't know why we had to go through this again and hurt our credit score) he was easier to work with. So we finally decide on a van and he assured us that all the used vehicles are inspected and certified and it clearly wasn't! That same night I couldn't get it to start. The key would turn and it would say "put in park" while it was in park. After wiggling the shifter a few times I'm able to get it home and I tried to start it again and it won't start. So I call them and they send a tow truck for it. Turns out the pcm was bad and if they inspected their used vehicles like they say they do they should have known that... later in the week the office guy calls us and says the loan company should be calling us and asks us to lie and say everything is all good and they will have our van running within the week... 3 weeks later it's still not done and every time we called about it they either said they didn't know what was going on with it or it was in the shop then they would call and say they diagnosed it and had to order the part. 3 weeks in a row they told us that! Then they asked us to lie to the extended warranty company and say we drove it a few hundred miles and when we said that's a lie we only drove it maybe 30 miles the guy says "whatever". Buying a new vehicle is supposed to be fun but this was definitely not fun and never again will we buy from kunes! More
