Dan in sales was professional and personable enough. In finance, the finance manager did not provide any options - I wanted to lease through Chrysler Capital and was told "No", Ally is the same and has In finance, the finance manager did not provide any options - I wanted to lease through Chrysler Capital and was told "No", Ally is the same and has better terms. The terms I signed on for was a residual value of 68% and money factor of .00168 (these terms were indicated on my deal sheet and verified verbally with the finance manager and salesman numerous times). It's my fault for not being alert after waiting hours past my bed time to get into finance and sign the lease, but after reviewing the terms at home and rent charge it looks like the dealership doubled the money factor to take as a profit (one of the ways dealerships make more money, along with extended warranties, maintenance plans, gap, life and disability insurance). So I'm out an extra ~$4,000 over the term of the lease. To get ahead of any response comments from the dealership asking me to give them a call so we can "make it right": tell your finance guy to check his email and either 1. send me a check for the difference or 2. modify my lease as it's been over a week and still hasn't booked with Ally. More
