Manager Phill Lafata is dishonest and disrespectful I went to buy an F-150 and dealt with the manager, Phil. He first mislead me to think he was the GM, and he kept trying to switch me out of the truck I went to buy an F-150 and dealt with the manager, Phil. He first mislead me to think he was the GM, and he kept trying to switch me out of the truck I had come for to more expensive trucks that I didn't even like because the advertised truck he promised was there was NOT there. I've dealt with the Kunes Auto Group for years but I will never be back due to this experience. Then, when I was negotiating terms, he sneaked and "lost" the keys to my trade and even took off the licence plates without me knowing and we hadn't even reached an agreement yet. He would leave to go smoke or whatever he was doing for hours at a time. Phil was constantly playing on his phone and I even saw pictures of naked women on his screen in the middle of the showroom. He was rude and made me feel uncomfortable. I kept catching him lying about one thing or another about the deal. Phil does not represent the honesty, transparency and values that owner Greg Kunes claims his employees have. My entire family has bought from this auto group and we will never be back. Greg should fire this kid asap and hire some real talent. More

Refused to troubleshoot problem Brought my truck in for troubleshooting of an intermittent problem with the radio, the backup camera, and the 'shift on the fly'. The only troubleshooting they did was to turn on the radio and check the camera, since they worked 'good enough' for them, they decided they were fine. They did no other inspection. Regarding the intermittent, yet loud 'clank' when engaging the four wheel drive, they said that is because I am shifting above 30 miles an hour. BTW, sitting still it still occasionally makes this noise. Also BTW, the ford manual says you can do this 'at any speed'. Once they didn't fix any of the problems, they then started to perform fictitious '30k Ford Recommended Maintenance'. I told them when I brought it in that we would discuss this AFTER they fixed my problems. They decided to start doing it anyway. I have always found the people at this service desk to be lazy and slow. The only reason I brought my truck to them was because I bought it there and I want the service records all in one place. I already have an appointment at another dealer who said they understand these 'intermittent' problems are hard to find, but promised they will actually investigate and if needs be advocate to Ford to replace the parts, especially since they are under Ford warranty. Finally, I got a 'follow up' email from the service manager, Mike LoCascio, and reported the problem to him. Have not heard anything back from him. More
