Who to believe??? I had an appointment 730am for an oil change. I waited in the lounge for my vehicle to be serviced. After waiting 1 hour and 15 mins. the technician comes in and says that my vehicle is change. I waited in the lounge for my vehicle to be serviced. After waiting 1 hour and 15 mins. the technician comes in and says that my vehicle is all set. However, as he is going over the paperwork with me. He states that I will soon need front brakes. According to the paperwork/there inspection , my front brakes are marked yellow/fair. I asked how is this possible because I just got new brakes and rotors put on my vehicle 1 week ago. Monday 11/4. Today is 11/11. I had this work done at Firestone. With the surprised look on his face he says that maybe they didnt use the standard parts. I said are you saying that I need to go back to Firstone and tell them that I paid for sub standard brakes for my vehicle. Then he says that he just went off the history of the vehicle. I bought my Buick (new) from Lafontaine and I have only taken my vehicle there for service. This means they have all of my vehicle history. My last oil change they said that I would need front breaks soon. When I started to here a little rubbing noise as I applied my brakes I tried and failed to get an appointment immediately at Lafontaine. I was able to get a same day appointment at Firestone and I got brakes, rotors and tire rotation. I feel DISSATISFIED/DISAPPOINTED with Lafontaine as of this date. I don't trust their inspection. Prior to today I thought that the service department was excellent. LOST TRUST More
Not so free oil change I had my first oil change done on my new car, which is part of their service plan. Now the car shakes. I was told they don't balance the the tires aft I had my first oil change done on my new car, which is part of their service plan. Now the car shakes. I was told they don't balance the the tires after they rotate them. Also, that it's $49.95 to do so, which is more expensive than the tire companies charge. I have bought other cars from them, and never had this problem. This will be my last car that I purchase with them. Their service staff was not helpful, only my salesman attempted to help. It's not like it's a close drive for me to go there either, and take time off from work. Also their "free" car wash is not so. It covers an undercarriage wash. You have to still pay extra to get a real car wash. More

First, they looked at me as if I was from Mars then inspected it and told me "yep, I smell it". Then, I was told they probably wouldn't have enough time to do anything since I was just scheduled for an oil change (I told them of the problem when I scheduled the oil change and that I would like someone to look at it). I said do what you can. After the oil change, I was told the Maintenance Manager was gone for the day and that they would talk to him in the morning and give me a call. I told them I would be contacting GM cause I have found forums regarding this issue online and I also wanted to see what they had to say. Three days later someone from the dealer calls to do a follow up and ask me hoe my visit went. I told her about not receiving a call from the Maintenance Manager yet. She stated that was unacceptable and that she would have someone call me as soon as possible. Three more days later GM contacts me regarding my inquiry. I told them the whole story and they didn't seem happy. They told me that they wanted to have me take my car in to have it fixed and that they would contact the dealer having them set me up with an appt. A week later GM calls me and asks how my car is doing. I told them the same and that the dealer hasn't called me yet. They stated they were going to immediately call the dealer and that the dealer was instructed to get me in, provide me a loaner, and fix the problem last week. Two days later the dealer called and told me they wanted to get me in but couldn't until next week. I said fine that will have to work. So I am scheduled for Monday to get this problem solved, hopefully. I have a 2013 Terrain with barely 30,000 miles on it. I have, for the past two summers, noticed a mildew smell emitting out of the cracks in the door when the windows are rolled down. The smell is very strong and annoying. I just want it fixed and to know that there isn't rot inside my doors. My car windows have never been down during a storm. Then smell just happened. More
Bad news review Oil change the tires where not checked. The car still smells like burnt oil and the pressure drops 1 percent per day. My car never did this before.
