We looked at a lot of vehicles and had even visited a Buick dealer closer to our home in Genoa Twp. They ran us a copy of the current Add from the newspaper. NOT what we had in mind. We had heard that LaFontaine was a good dealership and decided to visit. WOW are we glad we did take the time to drive over. From the moment we entered your showroom floor we were treated the way a customer wants to be treated. We can't say enough good things about our salesman Garnell Woolridge. He was patient ,professional and just a real pleasure to work with in making this decision. We would recommend LaFontaine and specifically Garnell to all of our friends and family when purchasing a vehicle. Your dealership is beautiful and Garnell FAR exceeded our expectations!!! I called this dealership after another dealership wasn't able to work with me on the terms I needed. My only comment would be that when I had specific questions about the final sales worksheet that I needed to sign, the explanation was fairly vague and the manager (not Mike) wasn't able to explain it to me. This made me feel like I wasn't getting the whole story. Other than that, great experience! More
I recently traded my 2011 Acadia in for a new 2013 Acadia. I commute 100 miles per day and work as a 5th grade school teacher and have little time in my day for nonsense. I looked at the web site for the LaFontaine dealership and sent an e-mail from the site explaining that I'd like to trade in my Acadia. I was sent an e-response and a name to contact when I had the time. The next day I stopped in after school on a Wednesday and talked to Mike Kessler. I explained to Mike what I wanted to do and he seached their data base to find the car I was interested in. The next day at lunchtime with very little time to wait on hold or explain what I wanted I was able to again talk to Mike Kessler and we agreed on a purchase. I sent my information by fax and smart phone and later that day I took delivery of my new 2013 Acadia. Mike was a consummate professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and he quickly made great use of the little time I had to shop and deal with the assundries that buying a car often requires. My new GMC Acadia is an excellent ride, very comfortable and I was able to upgrade to a SLT package and keep my same car payment. Dave Gough was great, worked with me every step of the way to get me the deal I was looking for. Upon meeting him in person Dave gave me a full tour of the awesome environmentally LaFontaine facility in H way to get me the deal I was looking for. Upon meeting him in person Dave gave me a full tour of the awesome environmentally LaFontaine facility in Highland, Michigan, truly amazing. The vehicle I purchased was for my 16yo daughter and Dave spent well over an hour of his time with us going over every feature of the Buick Verano as well as getting us setup with bluetooth and OnStar. Overall a great experience, I've already asked Dave to start working on a search for my next car, a 2014 Z28 ( not for my daughter :) ). Mike Wells the finance/business manager was equally as accomodating, explaining all the paperwork, incentives and options available to me while not being "pushy" or "off putting". if you've dealt with many dealership finace guys you'll understand how unique and welcome that is. Overall this was a 5 star experience. Given that LaFontaine represents and can deliver vehicles from some 15+ manufacturers I don't see myself ever considering shopping for an automobile anywhere else. I will recommend Dave, Mike and LaFontaine to everyone I know and everyone reading this review. 10/10. More

Working with Dave was the best experience I ever had with a Car Salesman in my 40 plus years of driving. It felt so strange to me to have someone so courteous and helpful to me, even months after the sale. I initially came to the site looking for an older model Pontiac that would fit my limited budget. The Lafontaine team, with no hard pressure sales, helped me to get into a better quality vehicle, well within my budget. Now I am Styling in a 2009 Buick Lucerne CLX, not to mention that it is flex fueled, so I am loving it at the pump. Dave even remembered my Birthday and sent me a nice card and assisted me in resolving some issues concerning my vehicle title. Overall, just a very great guy that you can trust to give you a fair deal. Mr. Gough you are a great asset to your profession and I and my family want you to know that you are appreciated. More
