Excellent Experience Until. I would have rated the dealer excellent until they presented the "cost sheet" that had an additional $599 listed as an "additional option/expense" or I would have rated the dealer excellent until they presented the "cost sheet" that had an additional $599 listed as an "additional option/expense" or similar wording. In my opinion, the item was glossed over with no explanation until I specifically asked what the expense was. At that time, they stated it was for interior/exterior stain treatment and stain warranty that was applied when the dealer received the vehicle. Upon further discussion, the $599 stain warranty expense was removed by the dealer. If the dealer had insisted on charging for a "stain warranty," I would have walked out of the dealership. So, if I correctly understand the sales pitch, I supposedly received a "free" anti stain treatment but no anti stain warranty. Don, the salesman, was exceptional. He gave us plenty of time to determine if the vehicle would meet our needs then did a tremendous job explaining the nuances of the Santa Fe. More
