Chris provide an awesome service for me. He was courteous, answered all of my questions and provided great information. You need more people like him. Also, the video is a nice touch, I love to be able to see firsthand what’s going on with my vehicle. The only thing that needs work is your extremely high prices. More
LaFontaine Hyundai of Livonia’s service dept. took in my daughter’s 2018 Sonata and ran a full diagnostics for us that included a video taken by the lead mechanic very thoroughly explaining what took in my daughter’s 2018 Sonata and ran a full diagnostics for us that included a video taken by the lead mechanic very thoroughly explaining what he found and fixed. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with LaFontaine Livonia. What has been most frustrating is not simply that there have been issues with my vehicle, but the complete lack of responsiveness LaFontaine Livonia. What has been most frustrating is not simply that there have been issues with my vehicle, but the complete lack of responsiveness to my repeated attempts to communicate and resolve my concerns directly with the dealership. I have made numerous attempts to contact LaFontaine regarding concerns with the vehicle I purchased, including emails and other communications explaining the issues and asking for assistance. Rather than receiving a meaningful response, explanation, or even a reasonable effort to address my concerns, my communications have largely gone unanswered. I have made every effort to handle this professionally and give the dealership an opportunity to respond before taking my concerns elsewhere. At a minimum, when a customer makes a significant purchase and subsequently raises legitimate concerns, I believe the dealership should acknowledge the communication and make a good-faith effort to address the situation. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. The most disappointing part is that responsive customer service should not end once the sale is completed. Even if a dealership ultimately disagrees with a customer's concerns or cannot provide the resolution being requested, communicating that directly is far better than simply failing to respond. I expected considerably better follow-through and customer service from the LaFontaine name. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage prospective customers to consider not only the sales experience, but also the level of support they can expect after the paperwork is signed and the vehicle leaves the dealership. I remain willing to speak with LaFontaine and resolve my concerns directly. Unfortunately, after numerous attempts to obtain a meaningful response, I felt it was important to share my experience publicly. More
The VW knowledge is no longer there since LaFontaine purchased Thayer. You make an appointment and it’s not recorded. Phone number on coupon is never answered. Service people and mechanics all see purchased Thayer. You make an appointment and it’s not recorded. Phone number on coupon is never answered. Service people and mechanics all seem lost. Not a welcoming atmosphere. More
