While I love my car, I’ve consistently had frustrating experiences with the service department. From no one being able to tell me how long I can expect a service to last, recommending services I don’t nee experiences with the service department. From no one being able to tell me how long I can expect a service to last, recommending services I don’t need or didn’t ask for to leaving concerns unaddressed or incomplete. I have an EV so my options for service are limited, but I won’t be returning to this service department. More
My last visit to Kia service center was not good, unlike laFontaine’s previous ones. This time there was a guy named Harpeet. I dropped my car while he and another girl were non-welcoming and were looking a laFontaine’s previous ones. This time there was a guy named Harpeet. I dropped my car while he and another girl were non-welcoming and were looking at the computer and Harpeet barely raised his head to talk to me or acknowledge me. I was there for an antitheft recall, something related to ignition. I told him that my tire light is on-solid not flickering. He said it could be tire air issue. I said no I filled the air but I think the issue is the sensor. I asked him to look at it also. What did he do? He adjusted the tire air and the light went out temporarily and sure enough it came back on. IT WAS THE TIRE SENSOR STUPID. that’s not all. He messed up my car. When I parked my car after I picked it up, my remote key didn’t work so I was no able to lock the car. My remote key was fine. I even tried to lock it manually but it didn’t work either. So as soon as this guy supposedly “fixed” the anti theft recall problem, it’s now not even safe and the car can’t be locked. It was fine before I gave it to him!! Not friendly or professional service at and like I said I am surprised this standard got this low at LaFontaine Dearborn! More
This is the only dealership I would trust with my Kia Niro. I purchased here. They know I will be back for service and the next car. I am comfortable with them. I have a dealership close to my home that Niro. I purchased here. They know I will be back for service and the next car. I am comfortable with them. I have a dealership close to my home that is physically uninviting. I’d rather driver the extra 20 minutes for safety, convenience and confidence. More
