Pushy people trying to take my hard earned money. I just need to buy a car. Simple enough? This was not the first time I tried to get good service when shopping for a car. Looking on the website before shopping did not help! There is not enough good information. What am I supposed to do, just show up and then have to listen to the sales person? Terrible! I want to know what I am walking into, so I can get my business done and get out of there. More

Gary thinks absolutely nothing is covered under warranty. Everything is the owner's fault and problem - stay away, nothing but a bad experience from them! Somehow I no longer know how to put a gas cap on - Everything is the owner's fault and problem - stay away, nothing but a bad experience from them! Somehow I no longer know how to put a gas cap on - since the gas cap got stuck on.. and now the engine guard is cracked - and that is my fault too. I've never had such small issues - and I've had about 10 cars in my lifetime. The vehicle is only 10 months old too! Absolutely nothing has been covered under warranty.... More

I had a four wheel alignment done after hitting a huge pot hole. Upon leaving the dealership the car began to shake & vibrate violently. The dealership was closed so I pulled into the closest auto servi pot hole. Upon leaving the dealership the car began to shake & vibrate violently. The dealership was closed so I pulled into the closest auto service and had them check it out. The mechanic at Ralph Thayer had loosened the engine cradle during the alignment and forgot to tighten it back up. The ENGINE CRADLE!!! I actually had to fight with them to get a refund and a realignment. They finally refunded me my money after 3 weeks of calls, visits, and emails. The realignment was 'set to factory specs' per the service tech, but the car still pulls to the right and the steering wheel points to the left. Overall they really didn't care about the seriousness of the situation and the safety implications. I talked to Craig the service writer, Tom the service manager, as well as Ralph Thayer himself. All concernd had little empathy for the situation. I would avoid this place for service at all costs. More
