I was so pleased to find a reputable dealership, this after having been given the received excellent customer service from salesperson Mike McCool. I was so pleased to find a reputable dealership, this after having been given the run-around and receiving down-right rude customer service from other dealerships. For the excellent customer care here at Thayer, the following month I recommended a friend of mine that was also just as pleased with how well he was treated by Mr. McCool and the high quality stock of cars in their inventory. One of the best indicators of how much attention is paid to customer satisfaction and the quality cars in stock a dealership has is willingness to provide a CarFax report on each car on their lot. This is not only a free function on Ralph Thayer's website but also one in the showroom. High praise to Mike McCool, Xiang Leaumchampassa, and to the entire staff of Ralph Thayer Automotive. More

Pushy people trying to take my hard earned money. I just need to buy a car. Simple enough? This was not the first time I tried to get good service when shopping for a car. Gary thinks absolutely nothing is covered under warranty. Everything is the owner's fault and problem - stay away, nothing but a bad experience from them! I had a four wheel alignment done after hitting a huge pot hole. Upon leaving the dealership the car began to shake & vibrate violently. The dealership was closed so I pulled into the closest auto servi pot hole. Upon leaving the dealership the car began to shake & vibrate violently. The dealership was closed so I pulled into the closest auto service and had them check it out. The mechanic at Ralph Thayer had loosened the engine cradle during the alignment and forgot to tighten it back up. The ENGINE CRADLE!!! I actually had to fight with them to get a refund and a realignment. They finally refunded me my money after 3 weeks of calls, visits, and emails. The realignment was 'set to factory specs' per the service tech, but the car still pulls to the right and the steering wheel points to the left. Overall they really didn't care about the seriousness of the situation and the safety implications. I talked to Craig the service writer, Tom the service manager, as well as Ralph Thayer himself. All concernd had little empathy for the situation. I would avoid this place for service at all costs. More
