Lahti's Jeep

I have been a loyal customer of this Jeep dealership for years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I brought my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for an ongoing issue and expected the level of years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Instead, I felt like I was left without a clear diagnosis or resolution. I provided multiple videos documenting the issue, but the focus was placed on one video where I took my foot off the brake too soon, and I was essentially made to feel that the problem was related to my actions rather than the vehicle concern I was reporting. I was also advised that replacing both batteries might resolve the issue, although they could not guarantee that would fix the problem. I was quoted approximately $1,500 for the battery replacement. I chose to have the batteries replaced elsewhere for $429, and unfortunately, that did not resolve the issue. This confirmed that the batteries were not the root cause and that further diagnosis was still needed. What was most frustrating was not that the first attempt did not solve the issue — vehicle diagnostics can be complicated. The frustration was the lack of ownership, communication, and continued effort to properly troubleshoot a problem with a vehicle that should have received a more thorough evaluation. After sharing my experience publicly, another Jeep dealership reached out and took the time to look deeper into the concern. They worked diligently to reproduce the issue, researched available Mopar technical information, and identified a potential cause through a manufacturer bulletin. The difference was not that they had an immediate answer — it was that they listened, investigated, and continued working toward a solution. I have been a consistent customer of this dealership and have supported them in the past. This experience has changed my perception of their service department. I expected partnership, expertise, and a willingness to stand behind the Jeep brand — not to feel dismissed when my vehicle had an unresolved issue. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and looks at how customers with ongoing concerns are being handled. Customers do not expect every problem to be solved instantly, but they do expect to be heard, respected, and have someone willing to keep looking for the answer. More
