I brought my car in for diagnose engine Issue I brought in my car for diagnosis that my engine was running rough I have 2013 Chevy Impala , The service advisor steven was very professional and I brought in my car for diagnosis that my engine was running rough I have 2013 Chevy Impala , The service advisor steven was very professional and helpful he even drove My car and noticed what I was talking about he advise me that a technician will take a look at it, after the technician drove my car came back in he say he don’t not see anything abnormal , that’s when he said if we didn’t have a check engine light it’s hard to find what’s the problem , in my opinion we paid so much money to the dealership for diagnosis just to connect your car to the obd code reader which I have one if I have the check engine light on I don’t need to go to the dealer to find out what’s the code is I take it to the dealer I thought they have experience those Technicians don’t know anything about engines or cars unless if you have a check engine light , you are better off going to a local mechanic with experience rather than going to the dealer and pay so much money for the technician just came out of the trade school , at the dealer I think the machines doing 90% of the job that the technicians , So my suggestion don’t even waste your time going to a dealership if you do not have a check engine light on your car they will never tell you what’s wrong with it because they’re not going to waste their time to search for the problem they only check it on the machine ,Finally I would say the service advisor was very polite and professional and he try to take the car in for the second time the technician said nothing they can do ,My car have the problem with the engine sound loud on acceleration technicians must have no knowledge about cars machine tell The technician what to do I wish those dealerships hire experienced mechanics not college graduates work on technology More
