Lack of information 5/28/2020 It took 8 hours for a 2012 Focus to undergo a 100,000 mile maintenance service check.I was told this service would take awhile but not all 5/28/2020 It took 8 hours for a 2012 Focus to undergo a 100,000 mile maintenance service check.I was told this service would take awhile but not all day. Fortunately I arranged for someone to pick me up and return later. I was not told of what the customary cost of his maintence check would be when I set up the appointment. This is not including any additional work that must be done, I did receive a call from service advising on additional items that needed replacing or attention at this time. The prices were quoted and was less than $300 and I agreed. The shock came at check out with a service bill of over $900. I do take a consumers reponsibity for not directly asking for the price of the general maintenance when I made the appointment. I have had oil changes and tune up specials at this dealer before and these services were at a reasonable price. I grew up in a Ford family and have owned numerous Ford vehicles. I understand the labor cost but always wanted to keep my vehicles maintained by the Ford Motor Company rather than other self sustained mechanics. Brought truck in..intermittent and auto wipers not working properly. Left truck for a day and was informed they couldn't recreate the problem. Drake was a breath of fresh air. I came in and new exactly what I wanted and he was there as soon as I walked in the door.
